"The handyman, Quinn, was competent and pleasant, but he communicated poorly with the glass supplier.  One broken bathroom window pane needed to be replaced, and an exact match to the existing glass in the other two panes could not be found.  I told Quinn that I might want to replace all three panes so that they'd match.   After he changed out the broken pane, I decided that I did want to change the other two for an exact match. It was only at that point the glass supplier told Quinn he didn't have matching glass in stock, that it had to be ordered.   Therefore a one day job became a three day job while we waited for the glass to come in, and temporary panes had to be put in so there'd be no holes in the house during a weekend away.   When the "matching" glass came in almost a week later, it was not an exact match - this is frosted bathroom glass, and per the handyman, because the glass was from a different lot, some pieces were more opaque than others.   It's my feeling that SOME of the fault lies with the glass supplier and SOME with the lack of communication between Mr. Handyman and the glass supplier.  The job took 3 times as long as the estimate, and my glass panes are NOT an exact match although that is what I wanted.

I am a single woman and we all know that many contractors like to take advantage of the lack of knowledge one might have in this area.   I interviewed many contractors for my project and found most to be substandard (to say the least) to my needs.  I found Bernal Construction from the time I first contact them to be very professional. Their Project Manager, Louise Williams is on top of her game from beginning to end.   It was a delight to work with her on this project.  She made sure that every thing was on track with this project which was delightful, since I was not in town for most of this remodel.  I knew I could depend on her. The owner, Raul Bernal is not only a great craftsman but insists that every detail of the project be up to his standards, which are high.  Both Raul and Louise are detail oriented and insisted that the job was perfect before giving their final blessing and handing me my final bill.  And even though the final payment was made, every time I call with a minor issue, they have been right here to correct.  I have felt very safe and secure not only with them but with their whole team of craftsmen. Thanks for inviting me into your family and for all the hard work!  GOOD JOB ALL, and I love the end result.

"Earlier this year we decided to do some home remodeling at our house. We agreed to remodel the kitchen, master bathroom and replacing the entire floor throughout our house. Selecting the right construction company for us wasn't difficult and hard as we thought it would be because we were lucky enough to have a friend that hired Pure Home Remodeling before to perform several remodeling projects and they were proud to refer them to us. To our house arrived our project manager and he gave us all the requested information, ideas and estimate. We were shocked by all the important data and materials we needed and it proved us how much we know. More than that, He gave us a great amount of explanation on how they work, what should we expect from him and his office and how long should it takes. This information was very important one. The complete remodeling process was very smooth and easy. Our project manager and any one from the working crew were excellent! Fast, skilled, easygoing and really take pride in each work they did or do. It took close to a month to finish everything. We valued the fact that they were so eager to work and to do it on the best side of perfection. We love the new kitchen and bathroom that they did for us including the: cabinets, new tile floor, stone counter tops, white subway tile back splash, and in the kitchen the same. "It went well.  Tyler was very knowledgeable about various critters' prints he found on my property. He had good suggestions for deterring predators ... but was not helpful in implementing those measures.  No references or anything.  I still have yet to find someone to install the kind of fencing he suggested.
