"There was a 2-3 week delay in getting the windows for the enclosed patio but no fault of Porch Masters.
In fact they got us a $500 reduction for the delay. Last June I called for some small additional work on the porch & they responded immediately. It should be noted that they provided many references prior to the job. I called on 3 who were all very happy with their work. My wife & I are very happy with the total experience & are glad to give this excellent review."

"Good salesman but didn't deliver on original time frame or quality of work. Began work in November but did not finish with last job until April. Soffit is buckled in a few places. Flooring contractor delivered pre-finished oak instead of unfinished oak as we had requested. Oak flooring had many knots in it. Don't think they let the wood sit long enough in our house before laying it because it is beginning to warp a little. Had major issues with grouting of tile work. Upstairs ceramic tile floor not grouted well and had to ask twice for contractor to grout missed spots. Today there are still some places where the grout is missing. The worst headache we have is the shower tile. They had to regrout about 4 times due to cracking and using different colors of grout. We had to call them back again today because the grout is chipping, cracking and coming out in the corners, the base and around the drain. They say their work is guaranteed for 5 years so we will see. We are concerned about moisture and mold due to cracks and missing grout if this is not fixed soon. With all this said most of the people we dealt with from Braswell were very nice and professional. I was mistakenly copied on a text message one supervisor sent the owner where he was cursing about a message I had sent him regarding something that needed to be fixed. They did throw in some extra work at no additional charge that was nice. We have heard back from the owner and a supervisor and are being told they will have all our issues corrected so that we will be satisfied.
"

"I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. I followed up with another order for the remaining 13 windows in my porch and again, they arrived quickly, were of great quality, exactly to size and easy to fit. Looking forward to see how they last their first winter."

"The entire experience was top-notch from beginning to end. I had been working with another local company for weeks. The people there never contacted me unless I contacted them first, so every time I asked for something -- an estimate, an answer to a question, and so on -- they said they'd get back to me, but didn't until I called again. Because it was dragging on so long that it was putting the work on my house behind schedule, I called NRG to see if they could do better. William Strickland, the owner, was out the next day to look at the existing doors, exactly when he said he would be there, and he provided me with an estimate by the end of the day. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable, and he took the time to do research on a new line of doors that he told me were of very high quality but would be less expensive than other options. He told me how long it would take for the doors to get in, and it turned out that they were actually available a week earlier than expected. During the time I was waiting for the doors to come from the manufacturer, I had a couple of questions, and he always was available when I called or else he called back almost immediately. He generally knew the answer to my questions, but if he didn't, he found out and called me back.
On the day of installation, his installers were here when they said they would be here, and William showed up for an hour or so to make sure everything was going as planned. The installers were highly skilled. They worked quickly and did an excellent job. They were also careful to ask questions and make sure that they were doing the job exactly how I wanted them to do it. The doors themselves were of very high quality and exactly as described. One problem appeared with the doors a week after installation -- because of a manufacturing flaw, a bit of the finish pulled off on one handle when some painter's tape was removed. William responded very quickly when I called. The local representative of the door company was at my house the next day, looked at the handle, agreed there was a problem, and ordered a replacement.
Bottom line: I have worked with many different contractors over the years -- and many just in the past few months as we have been renovating our family room -- and I have never been more pleased with one than I am with NRG. Similarly, I've left a number of reviews on Angie's List, and this is the best I have written. NRG does far more than replace doors and windows -- they will build or renovate entire rooms, including kitchens and sunrooms. When it is time to do more work like this, I will certainly be calling NRG again.
"

"It was a good experience. They did a good job with the windows and doors. The windows cost me $6000 and the doors cost me $3000. I was happy with the installation. Considering the fact that I have lifetime warranty on them and that they would replace anything that needs to be replaced, the price was very good. I didn’t have any concerns."

"Screens are not what they say. I have so many gnats and so much windblown dirt in the window seals it's awful. The site says 10% discount for seniors. At what age do they consider to be senior? I didn't receive a discount either time and i'm 62. The second salesman was nice but pushy and very quick to put the contract in front of us. Not to happy with that.Overlooked a few details I wanted to discuss. Loved the first salesman we had which was a much more mature and helpful gentleman. Call back on checking work after it was finished didn't happen the second time. Overall I think they are way overpriced. Waiting on third install."

"That particular company had been getting a bad rep before we used them. We went ahead and used them and it was not an insurance claim and they did an excellent job. They're competitive and very comparable to everybody else in our area. They're not any more expensive, they're not any less. They do a really good job, what they promise to do, they do."

"John Robillard and Sam Morlett did a fantastic job remodeling my garage into a home entertainment room. They completely changed the outside on the home so that one couldn't even tell there were ever garage doors there. There are no left over garage squares. Just two new windows and shutters with new siding that looks like the builder built the wall with the home new. Inside they dry walled the inside, made fan and new power outlets. They took off the garage entry door and widen the entry to make it an entrance space just like one into any other room. Also they create larger, safer steps into the new space. Now of course we still have to wood or carpet and paint it. But my family is very happy to have this new space for the kids after downsizing. We knew we would not have it if we did not do it right when we moved in. Sam and John were always on time, flexible and super nice. I would highly re come them for any home improvement job. They just built a brand new deck for one of my very good friends last month too that he absolutely loves. They too are talking about having John and Sam do their garage and built a new garage next to it!
"
