After we as the home owners had excavated & replaced the exterior basment steps it was was revealed that door frame work was not square and was impacted by the basement walls. Our house was built in 1925. Todd was able to view the exposed basement steps work prior to its completion. There was more than one site visit by him to determine the approach to installation for the door.Todd provided specs for us to order the door and met with us.& our vendor to review the specs before ordering. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"
