"We just purchased the fence, they did not install.  Not because we didn't want them to because of price.  It was just that we had our own landscaper do so because it was part of a bigger project he was already working on.  Mr Fence as I said above was professional and helpful.  Treated us great even after we said we would install ourselves.  Dan at Mr Fence actually worked with our landscaper to pick up the fence and tell him about nuances he'd need to know.  Top notch place, very competitive pricing.

"They didn't finish but I have to say when we called back to remind them, they said that they would clean up after themselves, they did come back and that I would say a plus because some people once they get their  money they just ignore you.

They were prompt and like I said once they were paid and then my daughter didn't know that they were suppose to clean up and my husband called they did come back.

It was a small area of chain link and they put a little bit of like a barb wire for security so people wouldn't climb up on a flat loop, I felt that they may have been a little pricey for such a small section but I don't know really product had gone up so much in time whether it was relative or not that he had a hard time getting somebody to do what we wanted and they were willing to do the job and it ended up fine."

"I contracted with Dan Peirce to put vinyl siding on the exterior of our screened in porch as well as paint the interior. It also required an additional support post and re-bracketing underneath.  The project initially was priced at approximately  $4,500. I was aware of some spots where there might be rotted wood and was prepared to pay extra in the event they had to replace it here and there. The day they started I gave Dan my cell phone number and told him I would be in and out but available all day and able to stop back in at any time. I asked him to call if there were any issues. When mold was discovered all three walls were demolished and partially hauled away with no phone call to me. When I returned to the house there was only the ceiling and the floor left and a couple of moldy panels for them to show me. When I asked one of his workers if there had been mold on all the panels he replied that he thought so. While I certainly hope they were being honest about the extent of the damage Dan should have called me before allowing it to be ripped out. He was usually not on site except for first thing in the morning, which is probably where some of the problem lies. I received an email from him that evening at 6:45 explaining what had happened after the fact. The additional construction was quoted at $3,375. I agreed to this feeling that I had little choice at that point. Communication throughout the project was poor. Additionally, the demolition left lead paint chips all over due to insufficient use of drop cloths. When the job was done there was an additional $800 dollars added bringing the total to $8,688.42. When I questioned the surprise additions he said it was for things we discussed after the second proposal that were not included.  I told him that if they were not included he should have told me that and mentioned what the costs would be. I asked if we could split the difference, which he said no to. I paid the full $8,688.42. The final product looks good but the process was not smooth.
