"It went great and I left Harmond and Neli a great review on the chat survey that I wish I had copied to past here as I wrote everything I felt about the Tech and the company and it was all good. I will be using the Neli services again when any of my appliances need attention / repair. Thank You Neli."

"I had a question about microwave repair. He answered all my questions and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately new parts are no longer available for model in question. He gave me part # if I wanted to call around for a used part somewhere. Got lots of good info."

"Tech was great. Very knowledgeable and courteous. Part wasn't on truck so it took additional day for repairs to be completed. I have not had an appliance repair in a long time so not sure what things cost. Bill was about $235 including diagnosis, parts, labor and 10% discount. Fair I guess all things considered. I would recommend."

"I wish I had used these people earlier. I ordered a part for my dryer and was able through their instructional video to fix it myself. Let me tell you I am "mechanically challenged" in just about every way. LOL I may have cut myself through my own stupidity but I did it. it was easy and I did not have to pay a repair man for a simple fix. Thank you so much!"

"We have an annual contract with them so they are out twice a year for preventive maintenance.  It also gives us priority on service calls and we don't charged on weekend and night service calls.  They are a fairly large company so we get a new service guy each visit who has to relearn our system.  Not that our system is unique but if there is a little nuance or something found we have to begin the conversation all over again."

"1st time service tech came out, he installed chimney cap and cleaned out the chimney. He was to also check flashing and identify (if possible) where the water was coming in from. He said flashing was fine and if leak continued, to call a roofer. Less then a month later, we had a severe water leak. So much so that it was coming out of 2 spots on our first floor. We called the owner and he sent out the same tech and another tech. This time they both checked everything again and identified a few spots that could be the source. They repaired those spots and we have not had a leak since. They did not charge for the 2nd service call, due to the error of the first service call, they only charged for materials. We were very satisfied with the responsiveness of the company when the leak continued and both techs were professional and thorough when they came back out."

"This is an excellent company.  They were very honest and helpful.  Last year, I replaced the lamp in my Sony TV with one I got online and today it was having the same shut down problems again.  I called Myrtle Beach TV Repair to see if they had a lamp in stock, which they did, and they said they would come to my home within the hour to get my tv back up and playing again.  They were very responsive.  They also told me many things about my tv I had never known.  They asked me when was the last time I had the lamp replaced and I said about a year ago.  What they recommended, since I had replaced the lamp that should have lasted me three years, is that I let them do a thorough cleaning of my tv, verify that I needed to replace the lamp, check the ballast and color wheel, and check that all my fans were running properly to cool down the new lamp they installed.  They said that the number one lamp killer is heat and if I was going through lamps that quickly, I may have either gotten an aftermarket lamp, or I may have a cooling issue that could be corrected if I caught it in time, especially since I had just had a new color wheel installed a few months ago.  They said that sometimes people buy lamps off the internet that are aftermarket lamps, especially since I had bought one that only gave me a thirty day warranty.  They said that quality lamp companies always give at least a one year warranty.  They guaranteed their work with their one year warranty and that made me feel better.  They explained that the lamps they get from their manufacturer are certified osram lamps that have a very high quality standard that the manufacturer refuses 40% of the lamps due to lower quality so the price is a little higher for the lamp that will last three times as long as the lesser quality ones.  They said there are companies that buy these "reject" lamps and resell them cheaper online, but they never last very long.  So they came to my house today, which is Memorial day by the way, and they charged me their normal fee because they said they have the same prices every day of the year.  They very quickly had my tv apart, cleaned every inch of the insides of it, told me that my color wheel, ballast and one fan was working good, replaced the second fan that had seized up and stopped working, and installed a new lamp.  They did all this within half an hour.  I was genuinely impressed with the pair of technicians that came to my home, and I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know.  They were professional, clean and respectful of my kids and dogs that kept getting in the way.  In fact, when my son kept asking questions, the repairman explained each step of what he was doing and why each part inside my tv functioned like it did.  They really made our Memorial day weekend a good memory!  Thank you."

"This was for a rental house we own in Decatur, we don't live in Decatur.  The company didn't call us as we expected to set up the appointment, but after I contacted him he was very responsive.  When he was able to get in the house to do the repair he discovered there was a leak and the floor was rotting. He contacted me and waited for me to get back with him.  While waiting he fixed a small problem with the shower in the other bathroom that another plumber was supposed to have fixed back in December.  He didn't charge me for that repair and gave me a 15% discount on fixing the floor and leak.  He had to come back to do the repair, but all seemed to go well.  Ronnie was very nice and easy to work with and I felt like he was reasonable in his prices. I will use him again. <br />"

FAQs for fridge, freezer or ice maker repair or service projects in Bowersville, GA

Most ice makers are similar in design, and some parts are interchangeable. However, if your ice maker has advanced filters or special features, it's best to use the same make and model to ensure everything works properly. Ask your appliance repair pro to check your appliance specifications to be sure.

With regular use and proper maintenance, an ice maker typically lasts about four to five years. If you keep up with tasks like changing the filters every six months, you might get up to 10 years out of your ice maker. Address any problems with your ice maker right away by calling an appliance professional to ensure you solve any issues before they escalate, helping to keep your ice maker running smoothly for longer.

Your refrigerator's age plays a big role in deciding whether to repair or replace the ice maker. If your fridge is nearing the end of its average 14-year lifespan, it might not be worth investing in expensive repairs since other parts could fail soon. Getting a diagnosis from a refrigerator repair pro can help you decide what's best.
