They suggested we use the flue from an unused basement fireplace and came out the morning of Christmas Eve to do the work. A new stainless steel liner was installed and they gave us helpful guidance for our HVAC company in venting the condensate via the flue.  <br /> The team was incredibly friendly, worked quickly and left the room immaculate. "They did a GREAT job! They first ran into permit problems in Brookline, but Rich (?) was able to fix that and didn't charge me extra. Then on the day of the work, they showed up and worked through to the next day and removed the whole chimney from the inside without making a dent in the house. I was MOST impressed with this as I have 2 small children so dust is a big deal to me. Since they are so prompt and efficiently, i was able to coordinate with my roofer to come in on the same day to seal up the roof. At the end of the day, you couldn't even tell that someone had removed a chimney just minutes before. Highly recommended! <br />"

"He was right on time, did a thorough inspection including a visual inspection of the cap. He could have told us it needed cleaning since it was an old house and we hadn’t had the chimney inspected before but he was honest that it did not need to be cleaned."

"Called in to schedule a quote back in January and spoke with George on the phone, he came out to the house (I did NOT need to be there) and went up to the roof to examine both chimneys. He followed up with an email containing picture attachments of all the issues as well as a written up quote. Called George a few times with some follow up questions and he was very responsive: If he didn't pick up the phone when I called (which was rare) he promptly called me back. After finally agreeing to the work, George advised that scheduling is weather contingent and would follow up a few months later when it was warmer out, safer to be on the roof, there was no rain, and he was available. George called in late May to schedule the work, came out for the first day, and the came back a week later to complete the work. Everything came out great; George takes pride in his work and is an honest hard working guy. I am very happy with everything."

"It was great! I called on Thursday thinking I would need to wait a couple weeks but he had time on Monday morning. I mentioned I have to work and he said "no problem, I can be there at 7AM!" He was there right on time and immediately set to work. He explained everything he was doing and appeared knowledgeable and thorough even taking the time to have me run my dryer to make sure it was venting properly. I feared this extra inspection would result in an "oh dear, we have to do some extra costly work" but he said everything was ship shape and the cost was what he had quoted. Highly recommended!"
