"Just terrific to work with. Professional, on-time, and priced right. Ivan took care of reviewing the 2 small projects (that seemed overwhelming to me!), scheduling the work and came back for final inspection, after his crew finished up. I am newly widowed and am much at ease now, knowing my storage shed is like new and the mailboxes at the foot of the driveway are solidly in place and won't fall over. Will confidently recommend this company to anyone."

"We had 2 rooms that needed the wallpaper removed.  We purchased an AL coupon for 4 hours of wallpaper removal.  We knew the job was bigger than what could be done in 4 hours.  Accommodating Painting got a reasonable amount of work done in the 4 hours and we did hire them for some additional time beyond the coupon. They were responsive to questions before starting the project and were flexible on the additional hours on the project.  They would have gotten a higher rating from us if they had arrived on time or called that they were delayed.

"Everything was done better and faster than I expected! They were very knowledgeable about paints and the process. They even took on a few extra projects I needed painted such as some exterior cement wall and our porch swing. Very kind and professional!"

"Tom first of all pressure-washed my home's entire exterior, then he recommended a special sealant to use before the paint job on the shake siding of my house - it worked great - all the paint work was excellent and the job was done quickly and professionally - He also did a large interior room and I noticed that he used brand-new equipment to do the job, which also turned out excellent - Tom is a good resource to know about for painting"

"When I reached out to Tenzin, he was very responsive and showed up as promised to provide us a quote on the painting project.  His pricing was very competitive vs. others that we had asked for bid.  But most important to us was that Tenzin and his crew were available within the timeframe that we needed to have the project completed.

Our paint project took over a week to complete given the extensive nature of the work.  Not only did we have the entire interior and exterior repainted, but we had three wood doors resanded and revarnished.  In addition, we had bead board panels on our two garage doors that had warped.  Tenzin and his team ripped them off, resanded and repainted to doors.  These projects were not typical for a painting company to tackle and we were very appreciative that they did.

Overall, we could not have been more pleased with TM Painting. Not only was the quality of the work excellent, but their pricing was competitive and they were true to their word about what they would do.

I would highly recommend TM Painting and would rehire them in a heartbeat!!!"

"Initially, I had to ask for a refund and ask Angie?s List
specialist to step in to resolve the services I received from Don?s Painting
& Handyman.
I?m a U.S. Army Veteran who recently purchased a house and
was in need of some light and some major repair?s, so I thought Don?s would be
a good choice, at the time there were some questionable ratings, but the majority
of A rating outweigh them.
The end result was I got a refund a apology and acknowledgment
that there was a over booking of Angie?s List Deals, and a problem with one of their
worker which is no longer with Don?s.
I was satisfied that the issue was resolved and behind me,
and I had already move on and got the work I was hoping to have Don?s service
do done by a different company outside of Angie?s List, The cost was higher,
but I was fine and happy.
Sometime around the week of Memorial Day, I received a
E-mail from Don?s Painting & Handyman, It looked to a apology to Angie?s
List customers, saying that they are hoping to regain the trust and rebuild their
reputation and if any message or call for service to please do so.
At first I was not sure, but I thought one of the TOP guys
with Don?s services I like, Daryle, he
is also a U.S. Veteran, and seem to be a person that could be trusted
and stood behind his work, so I decided to message Don?s service and give them an
other try.
I needed a door to open into the hallway, instead of the
room it currently did, this was one of the owners specialty, Don, he had to
remove the molding and turn it the other way, he fulled the hinge hole & the
old door  latch with wood putty, and then
Don had to reset the mold and the carve out hinge and door latch.
The door works like it was always on and opening into the
hallway, Don did a great job.
The other job I needed to have done was to have some patio
blocks set up, I had a new eGress window
install, and by doing so there was a hole added and 3 sidewalk block
removed, so I needed to have some temporary patio blocks around the eGress
window hole WELL, so as to not have people walk in dirt in to my back door.
This 2nd new job  , Daryle
was going to do, he started it on a day it was raining, so he had to stop and
come back the following day.
The very next day , Daryle showed up ready to work, he got
down and hand dig the outline for the patio blocks, we ended up only using 12
patio blocks, 12 inch by 12 inch squares with a couple smaller one on the
outside edge.
I was not keep good track of
time, but I believe it seem like the door was 2.5 hours, maybe it was less, as
DON is a GREAT carpenter in my opinion and the door is better then I had every
anticipated, but I?m only giving a ruff guess on time.
For the patio blocks time,
again I was not keeping track of the time, but I would give a give a rough
estimate of 4 hours, digging, places , clearing , going to get supplies, and so
on.
When , Daryle was all done, I was MORE then happy
with the JOB Don?s Painting & Handyman had done this time around.
We did not come up with a price, and I believe Daryle had it
planned out the WHOLE time, but when I ask for the receipt for the supplies and
give him the CASH, and I ask NOW what do I OWA for all of your TIME for the
work, Daryle Said Thanks from a FELLOW U.S.
 Veteran,  no charge for labor.
Has Don?s Painting & Handyman regain the trust U.S. Army
Veteran, YES.

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Braham, MN

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
