"Very disappointed. We asked for triple pane windows, and someone on their end ordered double pane. Luckily we noticed day of installation, and they had to re-order the proper ones we signed for. Finally the group of installers who came did a horrible job. Trash, insulation, and broken glass on our front lawn. Horribly cut wood trim that we had to redo ourselves. Poor sealing that we need to redo. Our hopper window was misaligned and couldn't close. The hinge arm on our casement window has detached from the channel. Communication is spotty from them, and sometimes we don't get an answer by call or text until we message repeatedly. It took over a year to have our project done from contract signing to end, and there are still issues cropping up. Out of the dozen of contractors we've hired the past year and a half, they have been the most disappointing and for what we paid, the quality of work was truly disappointing."

Matt started and finished the job exactly on the dates he committed to. He did an excellent job communicating and sending progress pictures every day. "We started out dealing with one of the sales reps John Fossetti. Great experience. He told us about the company, about the products, had samples and a huge selection of siding to choose from. He was very open and answered all of our questions. After several consultations with many companies we knew Beantown was for us. We scheduled siding replacement for our entire house as well as new window replacement for all windows - 24 of them and a new slider. They were very professional and their crew was excellent. The windows had all new construction around them and we got ProVia windows that carry a lifetime warranty. They removed all of the old siding, fixed any rotten or damaged areas, wrapped the entire house to waterproof it and hung new siding, trim, gutters and gutter guards. It turned out absolutely beautiful. Our house looks new again! Jim Ewell the project manager was great to work with. He was very supportive, professional and answered all of our questions. Both he and John were a pleasure to work with. Also, their office staff were very helpful as well. Beantown went above and beyond for us and were so reasonably priced. I highly recommend them! I would definitely use them again for any future projects!"

"You won't hear anything but a rave review from me. Ten did our complicated 3rd floor duplex roof --part flat roof, part mansard, plus a lower flat roof. For reasons I won't bore you with, his crew had to work hand in glove with two other contractors simultaneously (an insulation guy and a deck builder). A lot of roofers would hate that, coz if they don't agree on times, the job drags on. Ten and his crew worked very well with the other guys. The job was done excellently. I priced a lot of roofers and questioned him carefully on materials etc. He was very collaborative. I'd had prior experience with a roofer, and it was a disaster. (It was my first experience with a big contracting job as a homeowner. I've learned my lesson.) The very reason I hired Ten only 10 years after the prior job was because the prior job was lousy and the contractor a dishonest take-the-money-and-run guy. And don't get me started on the mess. They didn't do the seams or anything at ALL right --which is why I was gathering roofing nails off my driveway for years. NOT so with Ten's crew. They cleaned everything up. It's not just that Ten is responsive, fair thorough. He keeps a happy crew. I like that, both because a happy crew does better work, but also as a human, I like seeing guys working their butts off in the hot sun treated like equals. In the years since, a problem arose around a skylight. Ten showed up fast, got up on the roof himself and fixed it. After that job, I recommended him to a few friends. They were all ecstatic about Ten Arya, his crew, their attitude and their work. Good, capable, honorable contractors are precious. Just today, they came by and redid the small roof over my front porch. (I was pinching pennies and didn't get it done with the original job.) Nothing had changed in terms of responsiveness, thoroughness and quality of work. This is an A+++++ review. (One last thought: If he does your roof, you're already spending a chunk of change on your roof. So buying the crew grinders and soda for lunch is money well-spent. They get their energy levels up and they're happy to do the job right for you.)"

"I had a terrible experience with Roofers Edges & Siding Inc. We decided to replace the roof for solar system, and hired them to do the job. Remember: you are not hiring Kevin but his crew!!! The communication was extremely poor. At first, despite Kevin agreeing to use an ice shield for the front of my house, his crew was unaware of this requirement. I saw they are using the wrong material, and I had to contact Kevin at the installation day to ensure they were doing the job correctly. It was frustrating that the crew couldn't understand English, and Kevin himself never showed up at my house after the initial estimate. To make matters worse, the roof replacement resulted in a severe water leak problem between my chimney and roof. I asked them to fix it, but they failed once and never showed up again even though they provided an one-year warranty. At very beginning, I fully trusted them, and didn't check regularly, eventually I found the leaking problem persisted several months after the replacement the roof! Despite numerous attempts to contact Kevin, he consistently failed to respond to my calls and texts. Instead, he tried to blame the issue on a chimney problem, and told me they can do a water test, but that never happens. I eventually had to hire a new company to look into it, and they found out that the FLASHING was NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY!!! and I can see the sky from my attic. I had to pay extra money to redo the flashing job, and Roofers Edges & Siding already lost my trust. The lack of professionalism continued when they claimed to have applied for a permit for the job, and I trusted them. However, several months later, I found out that there was no record of the application with the town. When I contacted them, they said the issue is an incorrect address, how un-professional they are! Overall, I would not recommend Roofers Edges & Siding Inc to anyone. Their poor communication, lack of professionalism, and shoddy workmanship were unacceptable. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy roofer, I suggest you look elsewhere."
