From contract to materials delivery to house prep and to the completed roof and cleanup, the project went along quite smoothly. I am very pleased with my new roof. "Our situation was unique. At first it was just a roof replacement. As they removed the shingles, it was obvious the entire roof needed to be replaced. Rafters, collar ties, plywood, facia and soffit included. I was very pleased to know the owner was there on site to oversee the project and make sure everything went well. "This is the second time I use Vaillancourt Roofing, and they have always been exceptionally professional. Brad Entrekin, the salesperson I have always dealt with is wonderful: knowledgeable, patient, punctual. So have been the team that does the work. In this specific case, Nick and Jay did the installation of the gutters. Their work is impeccable. They are very respectful yet friendly. If I was doing gutters I would do all possible to get the Nick and Jay tea However, in order to reach them you would have to go through the scheduler. I understand that the schedule is necessary in order to make the best use of the resources possible however, that has to be tempered with the needs of the client. Case on point, day before the installation date I was informed that the installation had been cancelled "because one of the installers was sick" and the work was rescheduled for 12 days later. I spoke to the scheduler and he had no interest in whether I would be available, convenience or any other consideration of what the effect of the change could have on MY schedule. I just had to understand that people get sick. That is - an administrative problem of the company was suddenly on my shoulders. This gentleman is extremely rigid and unsympathetic. Chances are that the job could not be done before but a gentler approach with the client will take him a long way. In addition, his attitude really erodes the exceptional work of the field salespeople. It is then left on the shoulders of the installers, to fix with the client what the installer undid. Once again, Vaillancourt has, in my estimation, first class materials to offer, a splendid salesperson in Brad, and an impeccable installation team with Nick and Jay. So, go for it. More likely than not, you will not have to deal with the scheduler."

"We got a full roof replacement with On Top Roofing, and had an excellent experience! Tim and his team were very responsive. The office manager was really great about contacting me right back, getting us scheduled in for an estimate, keeping me updated on times for work. They also were able to get us in this season, even though they were fully booked. Super great since we had leaks and didn't want to go all winter with them. Tim did the estimate himself and the price was fair and within range of other quotes. We opted for a rubber roof on our back dormer. Rain delayed work getting done for a day, but they made sure the roof was watertight before rain set in, and came back to finish up the next day. I loved that they were able to send contracts and relay messages via email, made it simpler for us <br />"

"We met with representatives from several roofing companies before deciding to go with Power Construction. There is no question that our main deciding factor was the effectiveness of Jack Cicco, the companyâ s Estimate Consultant. In explaining the whole process to us and giving us a firm quote on the spot. He was patient in answering our many questions since we really were not up to speed on what is involved in roof replacement. The Power Construction team arrived early to get started on the work on the appointed day. We had an opportunity to walk around the house before the work started to point out shrubs/trees that we were particularly concerned about. Then the team got to work. They had the old shingles off in no time and then the owner asked us to go outside to view the bare roof. He had taken photos of some rot. We are not of an age to climb up any ladders to check on this so we pointed out to him that on hiring the company, our expectation was that they would be honest about anything that needed extra attention. We had no hesitation in giving the go ahead to have the extra work done. We were indeed astonished to find the new roof installed before 6:00 pm and the huge tarpaulins removed with all the debris. After the fact, we had a couple of questions and were pleased that the owner of the company stopped by to answer these to our satisfaction. We have no reservations in recommending Power Construction for your future roofing needs."

"Everything was great except cleanup. There was a misunderstanding about which shingles we wanted, but Willard made good on it. They even removed a small area where they had installed the wrong shingles and replaced them with the right shingles, all at no extra charge. The new roof looks great. The only problem was cleanup. We found a large number of nails in our yard and on our driveway, and a lot of pieces of plastic lying around."
