"Ricardo's team is very professional and experienced. Ricardo came as promised to do an estimate and told me that my unit is smaller than what i describe if excluding the bathroom etc. Therefore he priced the cost based on a smaller sqft, which gave me high confidence about his credibility. The work got done by schedule, and Ricardo sent me pictures on how everything is going. And the floor work was nicely done by the end, especially some uneven places are totally gone. "It was fine. Truly, when it comes to Angie’s List, it’s a great deal. By the time you do all those add-ons, it’s not what it appears to be. For instance, they weren’t going to use any pre-soak or what you call something that gets out heavier stain. If you want to use the pre-soak, it’s going to cost you another $39 or another $49 or whatever it might be. They’ll upsell like anything else. They will show up and do something but basically, they are just going to run some water in your carpet. If you really want to get it clean and use the extra soap or the better detergent, they’ll upsell you. I ended up paying extra money. They made it very clear that I’m not going to have a clean carpet if I didn’t use the extra detergent or whatever it was that we needed. They helped move the furniture for me. They were very nice. It’s all very nice. They were good. It was just that the reality is it's not what it appears to be."

"I was very impressed with this company. We had said when we scheduled the appointment that we absolutely positively needed the carpet installed within two days. We were on a very tight time table: closing on Tuesday afternoon, needed carpet installed on Weds, and then receive furniture from storage on Thursday. There was no room for error.
When the owner came to meet me the evening, right after we closed on the apartment (not Mike but his partner), he brought a selection of carpets that he said he had in stock and were available for installation the next day. All I had to do was say the word and he would be there at a specific time. If I have any complaint, it is that the selection was rather limited, but then again, beggars can't be choosers. So, I picked the color and quality we wanted. He measured. I wrote a check and told him I would tell him what time to come the next day.
Though there was a little confusion over who said what about the time of delivery (they showed up essentially before I had called to say I was ready), the installation went off without a hitch and it took a LONG time, too. I don't know if it had to do with the odor remediation or the install itself, but for whatever reason, the installers were there into the evening. Nonetheless , they did an awesome job and the carpet looks great.
I would totally use them again, though I hope this carpet lasts for a very long time. So far, I see no signs that it won't.

The family room carpet (installed in April) had a manufacturing defect in that the carpet had a chalky sheen to it.  Eric, the owner of Floor Expo in Fairfield, NJ, came right over the next day to see it.  He agreed with me & said he would replace it for free.

The replacement was installed on 6/3/16, along with a carpet in the master bedroom, hall & stairs.  They did an excellent job with the installation.  Jimmy, the lead installer, was also very personable, which to me is a wonderful quality for anyone working in your home.  He even went above & beyond the call of duty in that he helped load 2 dorm refrigerators, we were donating, into a truck.  He also reconnected a loose chain in our toilet tank !  After completing the installation, they cleaned up & vacuumed the work area.  You would never know they were even there!

I can not say enough good things about this company..It was a real pleasure dealing with them, from the owner, Eric, right thru to the installers.  (How many stores do you go into where you have direct access to the owner...very few, for sure).  I will  certainly be a lifelong customer of Floor Expo !  Thank you for exceptional customer service.

"While moving furniture we found about 5 square feet of carpet that was damp.  We called Healthy Way and they were able to send someone to provide an estimate the next business day in a two-hour window to meet our schedule.  After their representative investigated the area he said it was too small of project for their business, but provided advice and recommendations on what we could do ourselves to resolve the problem.
Good service and very helpful, even though they did not take the job.  I would call them again if I ever had a bigger project in the future.
