"Update from 20 Jan 2026: I`ve been a repeat customer of Keep Smiling Plumber, Electrical, Heating and Cooling in the past for several home-related repairs. After having an unfortunate experience with Keep Smiling PEHC during my most recent service, I had some misgivings about the company and whether I would return as a customer. In regards to their customer service, everyone that I`ve engaged with (technicians, onsite supervisor, receptionist) has always been professional and courteous which goes a long way with me. The issue that I had was technical in nature and left me with some dissatisfaction regarding the quality of work. After speaking with leadership of this organization Mr. Powell and Ms. Amy ,I believe that they hold the highest standards and expectations for their employees and ensure that any work-related issues are duly addressed/resolved. I can sincerely say that they have regained my confidence and trust in contacting them in the future for my future HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing home needs. The manager I spoke with told me that there wasn`t any way the damage of the pump could come from the technician doing a drain and flush of the water heater. He told me that it would cost $1200 to replace the pump on the water heater. After speaking with the manager at Keep Smiling, I called another company which I`ve seen before in the community and spoke with a plumber and explained to him what happened. The technician at the other company told me that the pump could definitely be damaged if the pump was still plugged up and not turned off while the water heater was being drained and flush. I called the manager at Keep Smiling and shared those details with him and he replied that he understands what I`m saying but there was nothing he could do about it. I told him that I don`t have any reason to lie about any of this and felt very frustrated and cheated by the fact that I went in expecting for them to do a maintenance check for $59 for plumbing but ended up spending a $1000 for new. "The work that was performed was satisfactory. The water pressure in both sinks is now much better. However, technically, only the kitchen sink had any billable work done on it where a stop valve was replaced on the hot water line. After replacing the stop valve and turning it back on, the hot water still did not work properly. It took some additional cleaning out of the faucet and lines before the hot water worked satisfactorily. Because of this, it made me wonder if the stop valve was really the problem or not. The sink in the half bath was examined and I was told that a new cartridge was needed. After leaving and indicating that they had visited two supply houses, the plumber's returned and said the particular cartridge was not available. Since we did not desire to install a new faucet, the original cartridge was replaced and the plumbers left with the stop valves to the sink turned off. I turned them on later just to see what would happen and the water worked just fine again. We did have to return the items that were removed by the plumbers for access from under both sinks ourselves after they left."
