"The contractor responded within hours to come by my home and provide an estimate. He then left relevant materials for me to review to decide on the color of the new gutters. I called back, he set a date, and even though I was out of town I trusted him to follow through. When I returned from out of town, the gutters were in place and they were beautiful. It's rare to get more than what you thought you would get, but I did. The gutters blended perfectly with the house exterior color, and the work was flawless. Just could not be happier with the overall service by the provider. <br />"

"The two guys who did the work were punctual, and were not intrusive while getting their work done.  They cleaned up all debris at the end of each day (two day's total.) <br /> I cannot comment on the quality of the work, as it was not visible from ground level, and I have no experience  by which to judge what they did. <br /> My two areas of concern were: <br /> 1)   a deviation from the contracted procedure, and lack of up-front communication regarding same <br /> and <br />   <br /> 2)   removal of perfectly good customer slate. <br /> The deviation, I was later informed by the company, was based on the installer's experience that if the job were done as contracted, snow/ice would tear up the slate roof when it slid off the new roofing material.  Consequently, the installer elected to remove two more courses of slate before overlapping the membrane material under the adjacent slate roof. <br /> The installers left without discussion of any of this, leaving me to believe they were coming back a third day to finish replacing the final two courses of slate they had removed. I called the company to confirm, and was informed they would not be back, and had deviated from the original contract for the reasons stated above. <br /> I do not know if this is the right thing for them to do or not.  But much confusion could have been avoided if they had simply discussed the deviation with the customer, preferably before commencing with it.  They could have also informed us they had completed the job, and inquired if we had any questions at that time, before departing unannounced as they did. <br /> My concern with the two courses of removed slate was that it was our property, and should not have been taken without our consent.  The office agreed when I called to ask about it, and they promised to send back the slate.  Assuming they follow through, I have no objection. <br /> The bottom line is if the repair works and lasts, and the water leakage stops, and the bill is as contracted, I'll be happy. <br />"

I am not the easiest client and many changer where made in design as the project progressed and they were willing and helpful in making the product exactly what we wanted. The installation of the irrigation system when well and with the conditions in our area it saved our lawn. They were also very helpful with requests like moving a lilac tree so we could save it when the patio was built."
