"Rick and Candice were a pleasure to work with, they were professional, prompt, and did a fantastic job. My floors were in pretty rough shape and my tile flooring installer said it was a little beyond his capabilities. He referred me to Sterling and said they were the best around the Kitsap Washington area. I called them and received a quote which I thought was very reasonable for the work that needed to be done. Rick performed wood patching and matching to my existing floors. He then took everything down to bare wood, refinished and varnished the entire floor. The end result was amazing and I was very happy. "I can’t recommend Clint and Footprint Floors any higher. We were feeling a little stressed with getting our tile kitchen floor installed and Clint made the whole process easy, and stress free. We had an old home with a non ideal subfloor. Josh was the installer, and he is a 10/10. The job was bid for 2-3 days but ended up taking about 6 due to a rotten subfloor. Instead of cutting corners as most would do, Josh replaced the subfloor and took the necessary time to make sure the floor was level and that the job was done right vs fast. Josh has an amazing attention for detail, and we couldn’t be more happy with how the floor turned out. Hire Clint and Josh if you want a perfect floor install for a very fair price."

"My wife and I highly recommend Modern Flooring Services. We had 450 square feet of an irregular shaped floor covered with carpet upstairs that we wanted to replace with wood flooring. Modern Flooring Services provided a contractor to provide an initial estimate and a list of supplies needed to purchase. Then they sent a consummate professional and craftsman to install our floor. His name was Patrick, and he started by explaining what we should expect when he removed the carpet, prepared the subfloor, and then installed the wood. He provided different options for how the wood could be angled based on the floor layout. Then he went to work, and we can’t praise his work ethic enough. He is one of the hardest workers I know. He also did a great job of minimizing the dust. If we opt to install new flooring in the future, we will definitely hire Modern Flooring and request Patrick to install the floor."

"The entire project went smoothly and beautifully. The contractor went above and beyond the original scope of work to get the work done at the highest quality. For example, the 6-step stair upgrade from carpet to wood went three man days extra with no extra charge just so it would make the perfect look. As this was the first time we did such a big project, updateing to original plan is unavoidable but the contractor are very keen on listening and accommodating our changes at a fair cost. My entire project turn-around time was 3 weeks, which is amazing, given changes and upgrades we made made under the way. Other bids with we received was 6 weeks to 3 months at similar or higher cost. Since project moved so fast, you will need to be on top of the progress and work closely with the contractor to make timely decision and keep the contractor timely updated with what you want/don’t want to avoid any misunderstandings and costs for undoing. We will definitely come back to this contractor for future project."

"The installation was done very well.  The crew took their time and made sure everything was done right.  It looks excellent and meets the flooring int he adjoining rooms perfectly.  The price was very good.
The initial communication was a little unusual.  We communicated solely through Angie's List email even though I provided my personal phone number and email.  It was just new for me to communicate that way.  It worked out fine and everything was done to our satisfaction.
