I was called earlier in the day to confirm our appointment. Lorenzo was on time and started working immediately after he took a look at what was needed to be done. He was very courteous, friendly and paid close attention to detail. Lorenzo protected the floors with mats to ensure that the cleaner and sealer would not drip onto the kitchen floor. "Hired Peter Smith Painting for multiple jobs including exterior painting, deck cleaning, interior painting, sheetrock repair, and window installation. Each crew was professional and clean. They made sure to be respectful of neighborhood noise ordinances when using power washers for outdoor work. Paint work was good quality with nice attention to detail including sanding/scraping and identifying/replacing rotten wood. John and crew were just terrific!  They put down a bead of special caulk to keep water from trickling into the basement.  The crew came promptly, spent several hours cleaning and preparing the surfaces and putting down the caulk.  They cleaned up nicely before they left.  John felt that the caulk was just a temporary solution since the slanted porch causes a puddle of water to soak up against the house's cedar shakes.  He refused to give us a bill for the time he spent here because he didn't think the fix was permanent.  We will ask him to replace the porch when the weather gets warmer.  We're thrilled to have such a caring and competent contractor!
