"My first time using Angie's List proved to be well worth it! I saw a deal for replacement windows through American Jewel Window Systems for a pretty good price, 5 windows for $1499. I ordered them and met with Chuck who came to my home to take the initial measurements. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! He showed me the options and gave me the estimate. The deal did not include the screens, which cost at an additional $10 each. The following week, the installer came by to take more measurements. Two weeks later, the company called me for an install date. 
The two installers came and were absolutely perfect. They brought in all the supplies, removed the old windows, took caution and placed cloth tarp, installed the new windows, sealed them properly, and cleaned up after themselves. I was amazed at how fast and quietly they worked. What a difference in warmth replacing a few windows can do. The rooms where the windows were replaced were always very cold. Chuck had told me I would see a huge difference when getting rid of my old aluminum ones for brand new vinyl ones. We were so pleased with the initial 5 windows, that we contacted them again and replaced an additional 11 windows in our home. 
I am extremely happy and satisfied with this decision. My house is warmer and I felt that I received a really great deal!
Will happily use them again!

"Tanya called the same day my email request was submitted and scheduled an estimate appointment. Mike came out on time and thoroughly explained that my gutter fell due to rotted wood and explained very thoroughly what needed to be done to repair the problem so it wouldn't happen again. A few years ago I had all my wood trim capped with aluminum by another vendor and they did an awful job. Some of the fascia capping fell off and I had delayed in getting it repaired. Mike wrote down the color and manufacturer of the capping that needed repaired and said he would have no problems getting the replacement fascia capping in the same color as well as a matching gutter. I had already received several estimated from other construction companies for just the gutter, so I was prepared for sticker shock for the additional cost of the fascia capping. I was beyond shocked when I received the estimate and it was less approximately $50 more than the cheapest estimate which only included the gutter and wood replacement, and no guarantee on the color match. Scheduling was just as easy as getting the estimate appointment. Tanya promptly emailed me the estimate and proposal and the earliest install date (only a matter of days). Mike and his team came out on the day promised, worked fast, and didn't skimp on quality. They cleaned up the mess perfectly and took away all the old material. I need some exterior work done, and didn't hesitate to call Merryfield for that project!

"Jeremy was punctual and professional. The appointment was easy to make with fast scheduling. I received an in-depth presentation and walk through of my home. He was very responsive to my questions and family's needs. There was no pressure to buy or add equipment I did not want or need. My new system was installed two days later. Larry the technical adviser was amazing. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He installed my system with no problems. He took the time to give us a lesson on how to use the app and new system. A few days later I had a question and he responded right away. I loved the system so much, that I referred my mother. Her system was installed a week later. "Overall it was a bumpy ride, but the end result is very good.  I feel the supervisor was basically absent from the job, and clearly did not ensure the crew understood exactly what was to be painted.  I had to inspect and supervise the job from start to finish, and ended up having to bring them back twice to finish the job because areas were either not given a second coat, or were missed altogether.  The end result is fantastic, but only because I was such a stickler and made them come back and fix things to my satisfaction.  I would still recommend them because their price was great as compared to multiple other estimates, and the quality of their work is strong, as long as you are willing to stay on top of them and inspect thoroughly.  Throughout the job, they were very respectful, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves very well."
