Small jobs welcome

We are a small residential general contractor licensed in Oregon offering a variety of carpentry services indoor+outdoor. \n\nOur professional background was largely in finish carpentry services working for well established companies in the industry: all door types, closet systems, railings, hardware and a variety of millwork ranging from baseboards, door casings, window casings, handrails, crown molding, etc. If it was made from wood and is inside your home, we did it.\n\nWe do outdoor work as well ranging from fences, decks, exterior doors/trim, etc.\n\nOur time in the trades taught us there is a right way and a quick way to do things and the RIGHT WAY is what we are most passionate about. We're motivated by providing people with a high quality of work because its what we would want if the roles were reversed!\n\nWe look forward to helping improve your space in whatever way we can with the skills we've acquired in our journey as tradesman and we thank you for your consideration.

"Many of the windows in our house were painted shut when we bought <br>the house years ago. We lived with it. But high temperatures over the <br>past couple of years made these rooms increasingly uncomfortable. <br>So, we were delighted to learn of Fresh Air Sash Cord Repair, Inc. in Portland <br>that restores stuck windows to their original working condition. This entails a lot <br>of careful detailed work to free-up the windows by removing the lead paint, <br>re-balancing the original weights and installing new cords. Patty Spencer,  <br>the owner, and her assistant worked like surgeons. They set up an air-tight <br>enclosure in each room to contain the lead paint. Vacuums were on <br>almost all the time for further safety. Different electric tools were used <br>for different tasks to minimize damage to the windows. The outcome <br>is fantastic! All seven windows she repaired now work perfectly.  <br>There is nothing like a window that opens for cross ventilation <br>on a hot day. The cool early morning breeze through an open window <br>makes it easier to sleep. <br> <br> <br>"

""wow!" "WoW!" "WOW!!!" Brad measured, ordered, delivered and installed two custom pull-out shelves for an existing linen cabinet that were 42-3/8" Wide and 23" Deep. I had almost given up on finding someone who would take on this project when I found Brad at The Pull-Out Shelf Company. They were just installed a couple of hours ago and I couldn't be more thrilled!! The shelves are -- incredibly -- EXACTLY what I was hoping for and more: * They *perfectly* fit the space -- giving me easy access to (and full use of) every square inch of cabinet space ... I didn't lose even a fraction of an inch of storage 'Real Estate.' * They're beautiful wood shelves -- well-built and impeccably finished. * They glide easily and smoothly ... 'like butter.' * They have protective 'bumpers' on the leading corners to protect the interiors of the open cabinet doors from bumps and scratches. (A design/construction detail that didn't even occur to me, let alone request.) * And Brad installed them precisely as I'd requested -- spaced such that I'll have maximum use of my vertical space. (These shelves were installed in one open cavity -- one shelf mounted to the 'floor' of the cabinet interior, the other mounted to an additional shelf that Brad installed above it ... again, at just the right height for my storage purposes.) Brad was knowledgeable, professional, meticulous, and confident ... respectful of our home, our time and our specific requests. The kind of person you hope to find. EXCELLENT project outcome!! Would call Brad again in a heartbeat!"

"The first job Mike did for me was replacing the worn cedar siding on the south side of my house. He was prompt, affordable, and most importantly, did a great job. The quality of his workmanship is excellent. In fact, when we needed another major project done, replacing the fascia on a dormer roof and some worn siding an another part of the house, he was the first person we called. True to form, he did a great job and we are very pleased. It was a difficult job and much to mu surprise, he completed it one day. If you need a high quality craftsman at a reasonable price, Mike is your guy."

"Very professional and thorough.  John was on time, knew exactly what the issue was and repaired it very quickly and charged a reasonable price.  He also explained what he was doing and even did a few additional improvements to ensure this problem would be unlikely to reoccur.  We are very satisfied with this company, wouldn't hesitate to use them again and recommend them highly."

"<p>As part of a larger remodel and repair operation, our contractor installed a new front door purchased from Home Depot. The install was not properly aligned and would not close or seal properly. The contractor did a great job in other areas such as framing, siding, deck building etc., but properly installing and aligning a door is a special skill that not everyone has. It is hard to find a real door hanger but after a search we found Tom. He was able to take apart and reinstall the sash and door and we now have a beautifully operating and sealed front door. I would highly recommend Tom for any door problems you have, he is a real craftsman.</p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p>"

"We hired Ron Wackerly to do a complete gut and remodel of our kitchen, including removing a wall, and also to do the finish work on a roughed-in addition for a bath and laundry room. Ron and his employee Mark do excellent quality work, are professional, on time, and on schedule. They have been doing this for a long time, and are able to spot potential issues before they are even revealed, and then work to come up with a solution. For example, our architect's plans placed a wall in a different location than it actually turned out to be located, which could not be known until the gutting started. Ron and Mark came up with a great solution that actually gave us more room in our kitchen on a wall that was tight to begin with. We would not hesitate to hire them again."

"Everything went very well. The quote process was very easy and help was provided in selecting the product to be used. We picked our doors and hardware and they were ordered after all measurements were confirmed. It only took one day to perform the work. Excellent job on all the door installations. We are very happy with the new doors and no issues. Very professional and very detailed work was done. Any open items were quickly resolved."

"Brian of Grout Pro is a very friendly and professional guy. He came on time, worked all day, and replaced grout and caulking in our shower, bathroom sink and kitchen counters. The work is beautifully done and we’re very happy with it. He gave us a reasonable estimate up front, but found that quite a bit more additional work needed to be done to get the job done right. There was no question or problem about that and he didn’t charge us a penny more. We highly recommend Brian for any tile grout or caulking work that you need done."
