"I had an extremely frustrating experience with East Coast Comfort regarding a split AC/heat system. I first contacted them in July when the AC was not working properly. In October, after speaking with my HOA, I was told the unit was under warranty, which East Coast Comfort confirmed. Technicians came out, but the system only worked briefly before failing again. During the visit, one technician seemed unfamiliar with basic operation of the unit, and another stepped on my bed with dirty shoes, which I found unprofessional. In November, I was told there was a leak and a faulty sensor, but the issue was not fully resolved. Now, its a Christmas, and I am cold in my apartment, and East Coast wants more money for their visit, for something that they never fixed."

"My wall gas heater one day just went out. I called several companies and was told they didn’t service that type of heater. One company gave me the number for Angi. The guys with Whitestone came immediately and suggested I replace it because the problem was the pilot. I bought a new heater and they installed it in just a couple of days later. I feel that they were very knowledgeable, diligent and pleasant. It’s working great."

"I scheduled an appointment with them in response to their ad to flush a hot water tank for $49, no trip charge or add on expenses. After scheduling and in advance of the appointment I called for details regarding the service to be provided at this very hard to believe price. No matter what time of day I called I was always routed to an answering service that only scheduled appointments. Each time they said they would reach out to a manager to get my questions answered. After 3 calls and an email without a response, I cancelled my appointment."

The team works hard to keep all work areas clean throughout the process. Adam carefully worked us on the details of the systems to assure that they will meet our needs. "Worst service I’ve ever have experienced. They wanted to sell me the product, never told me that there was an early termination fee and another penalty for an initial offer they gave me. Had double charges every month, once for the oil they provided (which they never told me they were going to provide before coming. They just came without my knowledge and then I find a high amount bill) and another for an “automatic payment” for 500 that they never could explain. The didn’t even fix this issue and it kept happening every month even after I cancelled the service. Then having to call them is a hastié for the refund of the 500. Stay away of this company"

"Horrible customer service. Paid approximately $5,000 to have a water heater replaced and the very next day it wasn't working. The manager gives horrible service and I would recommend hiring any other company. I wish I could leave negative stars because one star is about 10 too many."
