"Just o.k..  Guy seemed annoyed that his company had to deal with Angie's List.  Basically told me that it wasn't really worth his companies time to give estimates through Angie's List.  Gave minimal effort and turned me off on Angie's List... turns out he was right.  Just bought a pre-winter check from a roofing contractor through Angie's List for $99.  This guy gave me nothing near what I spent.  So I recently cancelled my membership.

"It worked out okay. He had to make his own template in order to make this fit. He did a good job. He did one thing for me and that is kind of his expertise. He did okay with it. This was a special but the price I paid him was the price it should be in the first place. I thought $30 an hour would have been fine for him for this job. It is not worth $60. I thought the price I paid was reasonable. I would hire him on a special but I wouldn't call him and hire him on his regular price. I found one little thing wrong but it wasn't anything to really squawk about. The responsiveness was good. He did call me back although he didn't get here for three weeks. He did call right away within three days or so. He was punctual. I wouldn't use him in future at his price. I can't afford him."
