"We had a rep show up at our house on on 05/08/15 and go over the what we wanted done. Then we sat down and went over the scope of work and any changes we may have wanted done and then he gave us the estimate. The next day I had to call him to tell him of a change we wanted to make and there was no problem with the change and the change did not affect the estimate being a small but important change to a step that we needed. The team showed up on the 28th and did the demolition, base and form work and on the 29th came and did the pour and edging work outside the forms. The two men they sent to do the work we prompt and professional at all times during the work. We would recommend and use them again. We did have to cal the office for a confirmation and the secretary did apologize for not getting back to us but we were confirmed and hey I know that these things do happen. It is very minor and there were no flimsy excuses used. To me this shows the integrity of the company and their employees. They owned up to the mistake and apologized. I have had other companies in the past that try to cover up the mistake and offer a lie or flimsy excuse but as I said they had the integrity and good business sense not to try and insult their customer's intelligence. If you use them You will not be disappointed. <br />"

They identified two areas of trouble; my patio slab connected to the back of my basement and two vertical cracks 10 feet high.  They poured concrete and replaced the slab including a bell drain for drainage which came out very nice. Even built a stair that leads to the sliding glass patio.  They repaired the vertical crack by digging down to the bottom of my wall (excavated) and they used this waterproof gel, then filled the space back with dirt. It looks very nice. The waterproofing and concrete work came with a warranty which gave me comfort. They also sprayed the basement with a mold remediation product and did an OZONE treatment to purify the air. "Overall it Went well and I would recommend Finishing Edge for stamped concrete work <br /> Finishing edge was not the lowest bid for my project but they had the most Pool Deck experience which was Important to me. <br /> Took a little over 2 weeks to complete (They did not work everyday- Scheduling of crews and weather was a factor) <br /> I was forewarned by Jason (Owner) that it would be very messy and it was. <br /> All of his workers were very knowledgeable and took care in trying to keep the pool and house as clean as possible. <br /> All of my concerns and changes were taken care of in a timely manner <br /> My biggest concern was the integrity of the pool during the demolition and construction; and Finishing Edges experience with pools put my mind at ease. <br /> What could have made the experience easier: <br /> Finishing edge should have a showroom.
