"My parents and I live in a old brick apartment building in Hoboken that is from the 1880s. The bathroom in our apartment had not been updated since the 1940s. We needed help ASAP. We checked out Cesar s page and wanted to hire him immediately. The reviews speak for themselves. When he came into our apartment to give us a quote we knew that this was contractor we needed to get the job done. Cesar is affordable, friendly, and very accommodating to any issues or concerns you have before starting the project. Two massive issues with our project were that my dad has spinal & walking issues, so we needed the floors clear of all tools and materials at the end of the each day so that father could walk efficiently through the apartment. The other big issue was that we only have 1 bathroom, so Cesar agreed to work with us on pulling the toilet off and on as every day finished so that we did not have to leave our building to use the toilet. Him and his crew are the best and take pride in their work so that owner is happy with the final result. We brought the bathroom down to the bare bones and rebuilt it back up. I worked with him every step of the way to make sure that he needed all materials to get the job done in the time we needed. This project was an intense remodel with some of the hardest demo and substrate materials that an old bathroom can have. He didn t think anything of it. He has veteran experience in the field and this remodel only took 3 weeks. We are very impressed with Cesar s craftsmanship and professionalism and we will be hiring him again for any future interior projects."

"Handymack(Mack Rubio) Handyman services remodeled our bathroom. He removed a single door shower and installed a much larger tile shower. where the smaller shower was he put in tile flooring,sheet rocked the walls and painted them. Also shelving was installed and a door put on. it is now a nice storage space for linens and bathroom accessories. The work was completed in less than a week and we were very pleased with the quality of the work and the expert craftsman ship. We would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a handy man that is competitive on price and gives excellent results. The Estimate - Pete came promptly to my home to give me an estimate on the work requested.  He spent so much time with me listening to my desires and taking the time to explain how we could make them work, things that wouldn't work, and giving me ideas that I never even thought of.  There was never a moment where he rushed me, cut me off, or pushed an agenda on me; that was quite refreshing.  
The Work - Pete and his crew arrived at the time indicated to begin work.  Before they started he told me what to expect, what they would be doing and about how long it would take.  His expectation management and time estimation were on point and made me feel comfortable knowing what goals I could expect to be reached each day.  His work was done impeccably and with no disturbance to my home, my existing landscaping or lawn!  Their craftsmanship is excellent, their attention to detail is amazing, and everything was done with pride as if they were working on their own home. 
Warranty - During the fall I had a few EXTREMELY small issues, this was two months after everything was completed.  I gave Pete a call and explained the problem and he came out as soon as he had time (which was quite quick) to rectify the problem.  He stands by his company and his work, he will never leave you high and dry; a true businessman.  More construction companies should have the pride that Heritage does, these are people who actually and genuinely care about their customers.

"I originally found Mark on Angie's List, with all the great reviews, I had to check him out.  I am a first time home  buyer and Mark helped me with weighing my options with FHA or Conventional.  We ended up going conventional with 5% down, which saved us a lot of money.

"Just got an estimate but feel compelled to write a review based on the fact that I am about to do a major kitchen demolition/remodel.  I have spoken to so many contractors but Valentino stands out.  He actually had vision for my project and excellent suggestions.  I went to his store and he spent quite a bit of time going over cabinet styles, kitchen layout, countertops, floors, about 3 hours worth of his time and he was pleasant throughout the whole time.  The project is on hold for health reasons, and I explained that to him and he was extremely understanding no pressure to "initiate a contract so the estimate remains the same."  He is personable and listens to suggestions and your wishes.  I look forward to working with him within a month or so.
