"When we first met with Lew Merryfield, our home was a disaster.  Smoke and intense heat had made it necessary to completely gut and restore our home.  It was a time of great despair and confusion.  Lew was very reassuring that his company would be able to handle to assignment and allow us to return to a home that was better than ever, and agreed to bid the job in the format requested.
After the contract was signed the Merryfield Construction Group was very active, and progress was made every week.  We opted to hire our own subcontractors for plumbing and HVAC, and an electrical contractor recommended by the provider.  The provider and their staff worked well with the other contractors and were communicative with us during the process.  A promise to never abandon working on our home for any significant period of time was kept.  Building options and recommendations were presented at appropriate times and were appreciated.  Lew and his brother George worked with us to solve problems that arose and we always felt like it was a partnership and that they took great pride in their work.  Additional work outside the original contract and work change orders were appropriate and reasonably priced.
The fire was one week before Christmas in 2013, and we were able to move back in late October 2014.  Although this time frame was slightly outside of the original estimate, it was not considered unreasonable given the nature of the work and the change orders. After we moved in, the provider has done a nice job on following up any problem areas and punch list items.
We are very happy with our "new" home and are confident that the provider will continue to stand behind the work.  The overall job turned out much better than we could have expected.  Lew and George Merryfield, and their staff, particularly Tom Ferry, Sean, and Scott, were always respectful and friendly, and took obvious pride in their crafts.  In conclusion, we are glad we selected Merryfield Construction Group and would not hesitate to use them again in the future or recommend them to others."

"The fence was installed satisfactorily, but we requested a certain kind of post caps but were given another (not a huge deal, but still we didn't get what we asked for). But, because the fence abutted our basement bilco doors they had to remove one of the door handles. They proceeded to break both of them. I reported this to the company and they asked that I send pictures, which I did. The company has never replaced or compensated me for the broken door handles.

"It went ok. Eric was so anxious to start the repairs that he reduced the price which was great, but he started the job a week later than originally planned and my husband miss two days of work because of it. He didn't finish job at 100%. There are couple minor things that still needed to be done that he has not come back to finish. I guess when you have too many jobs going on at once, I guess he figured those few minor things were not important to call and say he wasn't coming back to complete the job. I do however want to thank one his workers (I wish I would have asked him his name) who did most of the work by himself. He was very professional and if I knew his name and number, I would call him for future jobs. Overall the work was fair, but I will not use Eric again or recommend him to anyone."

"Bob and his crew did an outstanding job on all three projects.  The first shed foundation required a lot of front end loading work with the township and Bob helped me navigate the process.   All of the jobs required significant travel for Bob and his crew, but they arrived early everyday and worked long into the evening.  Bob pays attention to the details and does not cut corners.  His rates are competitive and you definitely get what you pay for.  I highly recommend using Rock-A-Fellas for your next foundation or shed project.

"The exterior of our house looks completely different. When I pull into the driveway I'm now proud to call it my house. Ron was a pleasure to work with and provided me with above and beyond explanations to my answers throughout the entire process. The project was unique and had many layers of difficulty but Ron was able to address all of the areas of concern. High quality materials were used in the project and Ron's quote beat other competitors who used material of sub-par grade. Overall the project took about a week and the crew did a good job considering the scale of work to be done. Communication was excellent considering I would text Ron multiple times a day leading up to/during the project and responses were always quick and informative. Throughout the entire process I never felt 'out of the loop' of what was going on and Ron would either call or text me with any small 'issues' that would arise so that we could both agree on a solution. Overall, top-tier materials and warranty for mid-tier pricing, you can't beat that. If you're looking for a genuine contractor that will look out for your needs and take care of you throughout the entire process then look no further, you won't regret hiring Keystone."

"MCG Construction did an excellent job on repairing the foundation and walls of our garage. Great communication throughout the process. Very professional workmen and great quality work. Their quote and total price for the project was far less than another company that suggested completely demolishing the old garage and building a new one. The final price of MCG's garage work was less than what they estimated it would be, because after removing parts of the garage they discovered there was already a foundation that they could build upon instead of having to excavate and pour a new foundation. Overall a very good experience. I would definitely use them again."
