Nick does a lot of big projects, and our job was a smaller one, so we had to work around other schedules from time to time, and Nick is also not big on tons of email or paperwork which was mostly fine, but there were a few minor miscommunications and moments where we wanted more information, but all was quickly resolved to our satisfaction. Regarding the actual work, every contractor was very professional, and Nick checked on and followed up with all of them. The work was all done very well, and several months later we have no issues or concerns. Everything looks so great! We had a water issue in our basement and no longer have to worry about that. The new bathroom is our favorite part. It feels spacious because of the layout and design choices Nick made, but actually it's a really small footprint which is perfect!"

"This is the 3rd and smallest project we have had Jeremy do on our home. In the past, he has replaced a balcony for us and finished our basement. In this particular job, we asked him to add some built-in shelves to the finished basement and to make a custom cover for a cold air return. Jeremy was responsive as always, completed the work very quickly, and charged a fair price. He is friendly, respectful, and does quality work to match the style of our home. We couldn’t be happier with the work he has done for us and we highly recommend his services."

"Very good, with some hiccups along the way but very responsive to my enquiries and adjusted as needed. Start date was July 3 and end date was Aug 25. Some delays due to July 4th holiday so went a little longer than plan. Kitchen remodel is an extremely dusty, dirty job and they did their best to contain, and my house has two entries into the kitchen from dining room and sunroom. They offered cleaning service that I took advantage of and so glad I did as it was a pleasure to walk into the house when they were completed and not have the smell of dust. Pictures are being provided to show the complete transformation of my kitchen; unable to add additional photos to show the before which would have given you a better picture of what they did. I had used 2nd Life previously to remodel my bathroom and they did a beautiful job there also. Having 2nd Life do my remodel was the best choice; Tim and Renee are great to work with and met all the challenges that my 1928 house presented, along with some funky remodel choices made in the past. You can't go wrong with if you chose 2nd Life and you will end up with what you planned and imagined the transformation would be. Thank you Tim, Renee for my beautiful kitchen."

"The service technician arrived on time, however he did not come to the front door.  He went into the back yard and knocked on the patio door.  He was very quiet and not very responsive to my questions.  He did not provide an estimate while he was on-site, he sent it three days later via email.  I also had him look at an area that leaks during the winter months.  He told me he would have to talk to his supervisor and he would get back to me.  I recieved an email approximately 1 week later, the estimate was not specific and the cost for the repair was quoted as a starting price, because they were unsure why the leak occurs. <br />"
