"Joe and his team are awesome! I was interested in turning my larger laundry room into a full bath and my half bath into the laundry room. Joe was very easy to work with, responsive and supportive of my design. I asked for his advice on a lot of details along the way and everything he recommended turned out great with his years of experience. His team worked quickly but with the best quality, the overall turnaround time from first meeting him to complete was about two months. If I was not happy with something, Joe made sure things were fixed. I also asked for an accent wall and floating custom shelves which were not simple and they did an amazing job. I plan to continue to use Joe for other projects and highly recommend him for all renovation work. I truly am so happy with how the work turned out and I have my dream bathroom!"

"We recently moved into an older home that was in need of painting and major renovations. While we were deciding on the extent of our kitchen renovation, we hired Mike and his team (especially Eddie) to fully paint the interior. They were the lowest bid of the four competitive bids we received, and the quality of their work was superb. The trim work was clean, the work was done on time and on budget, and their workers were punctual and communicative. They even put a fourth coat of paint on walls that needed it, without being asked. They also provided excellent advice about kitchen renovating and removal of a load-bearing wall. Their bid for this project was about 25% higher than a competing bid, and we chose the lower bid. *THIS WAS A MISTAKE.* In contrast to the work with Mike, the lower bidder has been a nightmare to work with, there have been significant budget overruns, and we are currently about two months behind on a two month project. It turns out the quality of general contractor matters a great deal to the renovation experience, and based on the work that we did do with him, we believe we would have been far better off using Mike and paying slightly more. Next time we'll do that."

"So here's the thing: I'm picky. Not normal picky. OCD-level picky with psychosis-level picky layered on top. I also have very specific tastes. For instance, I prefer huge, large format tile over regular size tile. Even if that means it's three times more difficult to put up on the walls. All the way to the ceiling. With a 1/16th grout gap. Not 1/8th, 1/16th! Anyway, when I decided to undergo a major remodel of my home, I knew whichever contractor I chose would have their work cut out for them. Enter Edian and Alexis Home Remodeling. After we both got to know each other, we both realized the end result is what mattered most. The main focuses of the project were a gut remodel of the kitchen, transforming an upstairs bonus room into a bathroom, and structural work on the upstairs principal bedroom to raise the interior dormer entrance heights and reinforce the roof. It was all done with a high level of professionalism and quality, even when the inevitable surprises popped up (eg. the previous owner put down the old kitchen floor tile with plain old cement, which required days of jackhammering). Sure, Edian questioned some of my design choices ("who tiles all four walls of the kitchen?"), but in the end, the results are stunning. It took longer than either of us expected, partly because of the "surprises," partly because of my pickiness, and partly because adding a secret door in the kitchen isn't as simple as it sounds. "I highly recommend using Scott Curtice for any renovation project no matter how complex it is. We bought a house that was over a hundred years old that had not been renovated for decades. Starting from the planning stage, Scott was wonderful about redesigning the house in order to open up the space and bring it into a more modern look. Once the actual renovation began, we ran into a number of complex structural issues with the house itself. No matter what obstacle came up, Scott and his team were able to find solutions.
