"First I would like to say that everyone I dealt with at ICSR was great! From Erika who made the appointments to Jeremiah who did the inspection, to Terry and his crew. They were all friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. Jeremiah explained in detail what needed done in my crawlspace. There was a lot of damage due to termites in the past. I knew this was what needed done as I had another Company look at it as well. They backed out because they thought the crawlspace was to narrow to get the work done. I agreed to Jeremiah's plan and about two weeks later Larry and his crew came out to do the work. I will say it again, Larry and his crew were great. They worked so hard and in horrible heat and humidity. They were always friendly and smiled when I saw them. Larry always let me know what they got done that day, and what the plan was for the next. They cleaned up the work area, and took away any and all debris. I have full faith in ICSR and Larry and his crew that the repairs were done right. I am so glad the plan with the other company fell through, as I think I ended up with the best!"

"No problems with the quality of the work or the time it took, but it was surprisingly expensive. So much so that I almost regretted having the work done. The plumber found the shut-off valves inoperable and began replacing them without telling me about it or the additional cost. I should have looked over his shoulder more often and asked more questions, but I did not. Any repairman beginning additional repairs without asking really rubs me the wrong way and leads to a "B" rating at best and a "No" on hiring again. Learn from my mistake: make certain that you do your research on pricing and agree on a price range and scope of work with Geiler (or anyone, for that matter) before they begin the work."

"Shannon was very professional, punctual, and thorough. He ran into unexpected issues during the job and needed additional materials but he still honored his original quote. I would absolutely recommend this company, and Shannon, confidently to anyone needing foundation, crawlspace, or sill plate repair. finished as quoted, on time, and perfect work."

"Great!!!  We are in the process of selling the house and there was a lot of rust on the bottom of the water heater.  We wanted to make sure the new owners didn't have a problem.   When I saw the rust and realized how old the water heater was I started shopping for a plumber using Angies list.  This is the only plumber I found in angies list that appeared to be in the area, and although he wasn't right next door, he said he serviced the area. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />This was Thanksgiving week and  I could tell he had a full schedule but he asked if we could be at the house the next morning and we met.  He was right on time to the minute.  A great feeling of I made the right decision.  He went down and we could see some of the small leaks starting. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Although I know he wasn't scheduled to spend that much time with me, he called another associate to take his next call and fixed us right up.  No surprises, a very reasonable price.  I have family living near there that will use him as they have any problems <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Thank you for a great experience.. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Mike Craw came with someone he was training.  They arrived on time, took up the toilet, replaced the wax seal, and then raised and leveled the toilet.  Our pipes are old so he explained that eventually the pipes would probably have to be replace because of corrosion but that it could wait.  He then cleaned out the main drain from the toilet which greatly improved the flushing capacity.  I would definitely use Craw Plumbing again."

"They got in touch with the insurance company and told them this one that I had was too old and rusty and I needed a new one. The insurance company gave them no flack. They went and bought it and put it in. The installation went really well for me. The insurance company sends the plumbers, but if I had to pay myself I still would use them."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Brownsville, IN

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
