When I need something to be repaired, I expect that repair to be completed, or at least an estimate provided (for labor and parts) for the additional work beyond the diagnosis of what it would take to adequately repair the issue. I received neither in this case, and so this $99 diagnostic fee should have been waived."

This was reasonable given the circumstances. When the technician finally arrived, he quickly diagnosed a leak in our hot water tank and determined it needed replacement. He also mentioned that our water softener system was improperly installed by a previous technician and recommended replacing it. Additionally, I decided to replace the sump pump as part of the project. However, I was shocked when I was quoted over $13,000 for the job. Given the urgency of the situation—my family needed hot water—I reluctantly agreed to proceed. Unfortunately, I later realized that I was overcharged by approximately $5,000 for the project. To make matters worse, after the installation, the team left a mess on the street that they didn’t clean up. While I am relieved my family now has hot water and a new water softener system, I cannot justify the excessive cost or the unprofessional behavior. I would caution anyone considering Larry & Sons to think twice before doing business with them. In my experience, they took advantage of a dire situation, leaving me feeling overcharged and disappointed."

"Substantial amount of water was leaking from clogged pipe of the discharge from air conditioning unit inside home near bedrooms. First guy didn't fix it properly. Had to call them again. Two weeks after contacting this company someone else came and he was not even aware why he was sent to the location. We hope this latest unclogging will work. Terrible experience all around."

Mr. Rooter installed a new Well Water Pump incorrectly at my home, it was actually installed 15 feet short of the well and burnt out within 3 months due to the incorrect installation. After almost two months of back and forth, no running water and the involvement of another company to fix their mistake, they finally recently admitted to their mistake and issued a refund in the form of a check. That check then proceeded to BOUNCE due to "Insufficient Funds" now costing me additional bank fees. It has now been two days with no response to calls and emails. Do not do business with this company. Sorry I had to give one star just to post."
