"Doug showed up and looked highly disappointed to see me answer the door. Apparently my name didn’t match my appearance. He was even more agitated when he learned he wasn’t there to sweep my chimney. I advised him what the issue was (leaking fireplace) and he grabbed a ladder...spent 30 secs on it..not even climbing all the way to the top of my chimney ...and proceeds to tell me it’ll be $150 for him to silicone it but that may not work...and the only other option is to waterproof the whole chimney for $800. He repeated that the silicone was not guaranteed to work because all fireplace and chimneys leak...I just probably hadn’t noticed it before? He talked at me and through me. I am very big on not spending my money with businesses that don’t respect women or people of color. I did not and will not use Abbey Rd."

"We recently had Coopertown Services out to our house to do a routine chimney sweep to get ready for this winter. We moved into the house a few years ago and had not had the inside of the chimney inspected or cleaned before now. (I figured the home inspector had inspected the inside of the chimney, but he had not - he only inspected the outside.) Coopertown was able to point out some serious safety issues inside of our chimney that were causing smoke and other gasses to leak into the house and water to leak through the chimney. We contracted them to complete all of the suggested repairs and are thoroughly impressed with their work. They covered everything in tarps and were very thorough in their cleanup. "From my initial contact with Will all went extremely well. After checking with the shingle manufacturer of my existing shingles, I found that I had faulty shingles and had to go through the process of filing a claim with the manufacturer. This put a major kink in planning for a new roof, but Will and the Excellent Roofing crew were not impatient and were very helpful. Finally, the time came for a new roof. I was provided with a detailed list of what would be done, except for what might need to be repaired under the existing roof. I was, however, given a detailed list of the cost of possible repairs to the decking. The crew arrived at the scheduled date and time and began its work. The machinery used was remarkable--NOT two men and a wheelbarrow! State of the art machines were used to collect the debris as it was removed from the roof. There was absolutely no mess, and my newly landscaped foundation plantings were not disturbed. Will provided us with estimates of several shingle types as well as additional guarantees and options we could select or reject. We decided to use a designer shingle that was was a couple of steps up from the basic roof and to include several upgrades for ice and leak protection as well as warranty extensiosn. (We have been plagued by leak problems for years.) The new roof was installed, and it is beautiful. We could not be happier with the result. The product and the workmanship are, as the name says, Excellent Roofing!"

"We had a wonderful experience with Lea Clark Roof Assist - each employee that we dealt with was pleasant, professional, and helpful.  Our calls/questions were answered immediately, they informed us of the insurance and removal/installation process in great detail, and patiently went through the various roofing options with us.  They also dealt with our homeowner's insurance directly for the majority of the claim, which made the process so much easier on our end.  The most difficult part of the process was selecting a new shingle style and color thanks to the service we received from them!  Installation was completed in a timely manner, and although we had a few day delay due to weather (expected in the fall months), Lea kept us updated on the status.  The roof was installed in one day, and the clean up the team did was superb (no nails, debris, etc. to be found).  The roof looks fantastic as well.  I highly recommend Lea Clark! <br />"

"The provider repaired my roof a few months back and stated he warrantied his work. Later the roof again leaked in the same general area. My wife asked him about the warranty after his latest repair and his demeanor changed and said he should be compensated for his time. She ask what she owed him to which he responded "what is it worth" to make a long story short he finally said 400.00. She paid him via check and he informed us to Not call him back as we were to far away to return. ?? 600.00 for the first repair followed by 400.00. The gutter job was done weeks later and the leak started after the installation. (The very next rain) We had gutters installed above the dormer where the original leak was. Our house had been painted between the roof repair and the gutters. The roofer blamed the painter but we had rain after the paint with no leak. I don't know for certain as leaks can be hard to track down but I feel the gutter installer probably caused the failure. Either way don't trust the promise of warrantied work as while the work maybe warrantied his "time" is not. The thing that disturbs me most is that he made my wife feel very uncomfortable. He seemed like a very nice man when this all began. I'd recommend that you avoid this man."
