"Overall, I had an outstanding experience with everyone from John Krause Construction. Their customer service was most impressive. They asked about and worked around my schedule, were all prompt, courteous and friendly, and showed a true desire to complete the work to my satisfaction. Their explanations of the work to be done and the time it would take were clear and accurate. They started the work in less than a week after I signed the contract, and completed it in a week. This was well beyond my expectations since a lot needed to be done, including drywall repair and painting some hard to reach areas, shingle repair, gutter cleaning, and concrete step repair. There were a couple hiccups along the way, including matching the interior paint color and trouble with installing a door handle, but everything worked out ok. "It went great, I got a phone call to let me know a previous job was running long and he would be 30 minutes later than expected which i appreciated.  He walked through my yard and told me what he was going to do, and where he would and would not spray.  Very conscious of my yard and what i was growing, watching out for fruits and veggies growing. 
We discussed at length possibilities for lawn improvement, grading, and weed control.  He recommended waiting to move forward on other services so i wasn't 'wasting' money now and getting more production by doing a lawn treatment at a better time.

But I was having a mole problem and wanted some lawn service, but for everything it was like $2600  a year, but called him back and told him it was out of my price range. They didn't charge me anything it was just an estimate. they came out and looked at the property and told me what I needed. Apparently I had several moles and hard to get rid of. Initial treatment was fine about $110 he was going to lay some traps, but what I didn't like it was going to be $89 after that every 45 days for maintenance."

"The storm hit about 6PM on a Tuesday. A fair amount of damage, and my car was blocked in the car port by the tree that was now leaning against my house. I imagined that it would  be days before getting somebody out to remove the tree. I figured I would need to miss a lot of time at my job. Also I was concerned that I would be charged a premium because of the immediate need and precarious situation I was in. Went to Angie's list and found "Edwards Tree and Lawn Service." I called and left a message on Edward's answering machine about 9PM (Tuesday).
       At 9 AM the next morning (Wednesday), Mr. Edwards was at my front door. He took a thorough look around, quoted an estimate, that I knew was reasonable and left. In 45 minutes he was back with his crew, in four or five hours, the tree was cut up and piled in the front of my house. He and his personnel were courteous and thorough -- particularly in cleaning up. They were careful not to create more damage in the removal of this big big tree, and were even careful about not marring my driveway. They took care to get all the wood chips off of the lawn. I could not have asked for better. Within an hour of their departure, I had a detailed receipt via e-mail.
The next morning they were out early to pick up the cutup tree and branches -- again did a super job cleaning up. It is now Thursday and this unfortunate situation is behind me. Edwards' completed the job (including clean up) even before my insurance adjuster got here -- I am still waiting for the insurance adjuster to fit me in his schedule. That is responsive. I would use Edwards again and have scheduled additional work with them. Very pleased.
