"The attic work itself was completed within the quoted timeline, which I do appreciate. However, the overall experience was disappointing due to poor communication and lack of follow-through. During the project, my ceiling was damaged and a hole was punctured. Per the contract, I should have been notified of any damage, but no one told me. I only discovered it after the crew left and had to call to find out what happened. I was told multiple times that they would return to fix the damage (Thursday/Friday, then Saturday/Monday), but there was little to no communication unless I reached out first. Appointments were missed or rescheduled without notice, and ultimately the repair was never completed. Because of this, I had to hire someone else to fix the ceiling. While the attic work was done, the lack of communication, missed commitments, and failure to resolve the damage made this a frustrating and unprofessional experience."

Unlike the fly by night contractors that typically do this approach, Denise was very friendly, had a logo shirt and truck and was very professional. They helped us with our insurance adjuster to pay for a good portion of the new roof when I didn't even realize it was a possibility. They offered great communication which to me is key. "Dennis Hughes is NOT a licensed contractor in Allen County. We could never get him to show proof of insurance or bonding. I hope that this review will prevent someone from hiring this company. We hired him to redo a patio roof. The flashing around the utilities pipe was improperly done. The roofing was installed backwards and lacked the proper amount of nails. It was not connected to the house properly. The gutter was installed so that it was useless and prevented windows from opening. We tried to get him to correct the work but he always had some excuse for not doing the work. He was rude and combative and refused to bring his paperwork to prove he was licensed and insured. He yelled at me and my brother as we tried to help my mother resolve this issue. We finally had to hire someone else to completely redo it. I wish that the address for this work would not be revealed to Dennis."
