"After receiving an extremely high water bill I contacted a contractor that I knew to have him look into it. His analysis was that there was a leak in the main water line which is something he did not do. "Barnes was adequate as far as being available to come when needed and arriving in a timely manner.  Our only issue was questions regarding competency and fair business practice.  When the tech arrived (we believe it was Mr. Barnes himself), the septic access point was pointed out and he did the job, got paid and left.  No problems.  However, when the septic problems continued, another company was consulted and it was discovered that the septic tank had not been emptied at all.  We called Barnes back, at which time it was surmised that, instead of pointing out the septic access, we had actually pointed out a transfer access.  We had not known the difference and neither had Mr. Barnes.  He then properly emptied out the septic tank and charged us again full price.  When he was questioned about the fairness of charging us full price twice, his only response was, "Well, that was your fault, not mine." <br />"
