"This company was fantastic! All of the crews that came in did so in a timely manner and they did excellent work. We were only displaced from our kitchen for one night. If there were ever issues and they were few, they were handled promptly. Our kitchen is beautiful! I would highly recommend Creative Cabinet Refacing. They are truly the best and we couldnâ  t be happier!"

"Finished product was good. Punctuality and professionalism could have been better. Project completed in alotted time, but schedule changed 3x the week leading up to work. Both days workers were later than stated for start of work. Could have cleaned work area a bit after job completed."

"Wow. I expected new doors but also got new top and bottom trim that makes the cabinets look very high end. They put drawers in the place of the bottom cabinets. The drawers not only look great but are totally functional. I don't have to bend down and peer into the back of the bottom cabinet with a flashlight. Finally, the price was less than half of what other companies quoted. Gorgeous results."

"Ed and his team did an outstanding job for me. They replaced several ceiling fans and lights, replaced bath vent fans, and rebuilt and reinforced a kitchen cabinet that had fallen from the wall. The cabinet rebuild was very complex and required some carpentry skills and creativity. I really wasn't sure it could be saved. Ed did an amazing job and reinforced things so it wouldn't happen again. I couldn't be happier with the end product - good as new (but, much sturdier!)"

"Marrel and team did a great job on my sister's house. Marrel worked with me although I live in another state and also coordinated directly with my sister who remained in the house while the work was in progress. I was able to fly down and assist my sister with the selection of laminate, tile, cabinets, appliances, etc. The team of three started as scheduled and did not leave until the job was completed. They removed all of the carpet and installed wood laminate flooring throughout the entire house. They addressed the challenges of the house built in 1959. They removed old kitchen cabinets and installed new cabinets, microwave and dishwasher. They coordinated the installation of granite countertops and sink, electrical work, and wall mudding. We paid for the materials, cabinets, appliances, flooring, electrician, disposal and wall mudding separately, The price below is only for Marrel and team's labor. The work was done very well, but as important to me was the fact that they treated my sister and her home well. How often do your contractors leave with you gaining new friends!! We would definitely use Happy Homes of Jax again and feel like our working with them was meant to be. The grand total cost for the entire kitchen remodel and flooring throughout the house was $36,000. Happy Homes labor was the $16,300, Cabinets, wood laminate flooring , granite countertops, tile, dishwasher, microwave, other materials and disposal were $17,600. There is an opportunity for improvement of the estimate. The initial estimate was only about half of the total cost of Happy Homes' labor. Some additional costs were expected, as you have to wait until demo to know the full extent of the required work, but the estimate could have been more complete. They still did a great job and are great people and I would definitely work with them again!!"

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in Bryceville, FL

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
