Then we realized we wished we had run the decking all the way to the driveway. They let us know the additional cost & came back out to do the additional decking in a very timely manner. I now have a deck that is even better than I imagined. I love my new composite deck. I have to share that with the original deck project, there was a bit of a timing issue because I was having new windows installed. They not only met the deadline, but they beat it by a couple of days. Then they came back out to do my add-on to my deck within a couple of days of my windows getting finished. What made the whole project even better is they cleaned everything up nicely when they left. They also made sure that I was happy with everything prior to leaving at job completion. We are a small contracting company that offers big results. We do have several reliable subcontractors to perform duties that we do not do in the scope of a project.
"My husband requested a quote and had to follow up with them 2 times before they even returned his call. We finally scheduled an appointment for them to come out to put together a quote for the project. The appointment was scheduled for 6:30 am and he didn't show up until almost 7 am. Said he would have a quote back to us within a week and that was the last we heard from them. My husband called them back twice to follow up and they never returned his calls."

Fence posts are typically placed four to eight feet apart. Check with your local code requirements to ensure the correct spacing, depth, and setting. The placement of your fence posts depends on the fence height and material. Generally speaking, it's better for the fence if your posts are closer together.
To avoid upheavals or other issues, bury your fence post so the depth exceeds the frost line, or about one-third to one-half of the aboveground height of your post. Check with your local code requirements to determine the right depth for your home since it varies by location.
If a fence borders your neighbor’s property, you must inform your neighbor in advance about the installation. You share the responsibility for repair and maintenance in such cases, so both parties are held accountable by local regulations.
