Our point of contact was Gary Courtright who did an excellent job in communicating, estimating, and coordinating the repairs and roofing shingle replacement for our rather large and expansive home in Fruit Heights, Utah, where in some years, the canyon winds through our town can exceed 100 MPH.  After 25 satisfactory years on our old roof, we contracted Kimball to complete some extensive roofing plywood repairs, re-flashing, re-membraning, and re-edging of the entire 6,000 SF roof.  Per Gary's expert advice, plus Louie and Rohojolo outstanding installation, we ended up with a very attractive and fully sealed roof that will probably last twice as long as our previous roof.  We now have a Tamko 50 year architectural shingled and ridged roof that can now withstand winds up to 150 MPH.  SUPER. JOB WELL DONE !

"They replaced the garage roof at my home.  It took forever to hear from them once we signed the contract.  The Roof itself looks great.  They kind of just showed up whenever the mood struck.  No specific times were ever given, even after they told us they were coming to do the roof.  The price was not what was agreed upon in the contract.  I called & asked if it was possible to have an approximate date (even within a week) when they were coming & they flat out said "No".  Most of the roofers did not speak English, so that was a problem.  They did not do a good job of cleaning up after themselves.  If I had not looked in the driveway after they left, I would have run over a nail!!  There were also other stray nails on the sidewalk & in the grass.  They did not do a very good job of cleaning up the whole area.  They were great until they got the contract signed... then not so great."

"Plumbing never came and washer was never repaired. The replacement for washer is BS. The money they offer for replacing the washer is not enough to even buy an open box or a 75% sale."

"Joe and Mary Jane were very punctual and professional before we even decided to purchase the "big deal" coupon.  They did a great job and we would hire them again.  When doing these kind of projects, I recommend the following:

1.  Be specific and detailed in what you want.  They are very accommodating to anything you want to do, but if you are away and they need to wing it, you will get what you get.  It is not reasonable for them to wait while you figure out what you want to do.  In this job for example, Joe found a window build into the wall and had to work around it.  Also the cabinet vendor did not have what we needed in stock so Joe made the cabinets from scratch and put on the cabinet fronts that we wanted.  There were details I would have done differently, but I was not there and the details had changed.
2.  Give it extra time to do the job right.  Many of the reviews say it took five days from start to finish.  Our project took eight days.  This includes a snow day and superbowl day when I would not expect anyone to come in.  Our vanity vendor (same as the cabinet vendor) did not have the vanity ready for a week, and this is the biggest reason for the longer time.

For our part, I drew up a visio diagram with dimensions as I wanted them, part numbers, vendors, and prices that I wanted, and a detailed checklist of everything I wanted done.  Some line items were quoted a little high for me, so I had another vendor do them (ie electrical and bath fan installation).  They had no problem with this, and I made sure that it never affected their schedule.

We are very pleased with the work overall and after using the new remodel for about 2 weeks are still very happy.  We would recommend them to anyone doing this type of work and would use them again in future projects.
