"I have used John E Ruth Plumbers for a number of years. They have always been very fair, professional, and outstanding in the service they provide. It wasn't until today that I realized just how fair they are. <br /> I received an estimate of $849, from another plumber, to have a shower faucet replaced in my bathroom. Because there was no access panel, the job involved cutting out a portion of drywall to get to the pipes that needed to be replaced. The other plumber informed me that I would be required to fix my own open wall. <br /> JER did the job for almost one-third the price - which included installing an access panel in the open wall space. The plumbers that came and did the job were kind and took the time to explain a filter issue that I may experience over time with the shower head I chose. They took the shower head apart and showed me what I would need to do to clean the filter, rather than call the plumbers and pay $150 to have them do it for me. <br /> I felt respected and valued as a customer and knew that I was not being taken advantage of. I cannot say enough good things about John E Ruth Plumbers. I highly recommend them. <br />"

"Joe Delfine from JD Michael Construction was the general contractor/project manager for a whole house renovation. Joe supported our process from pre-purchase of the house through the renovation and working the inspection list for our eventual sale. Joe managed every aspect of the renovation managing more than 25 subcontractors and a budget close to $150,000. This included formal renovation design, permitting, scheduling, subcontractor management, financial management procurement, scheduling, and safety and quality control. Joe's tenants of safety, quality and timeliness were key to our successful and profitable renovation. The job consisted of: design, complete demolition of the interior/exterior down to bare studs, demolition and removal of a two story concrete out building, procurement of materials and oversight for new siding and roof, all new windows, electrical and plumbing, subfloor repair and installation, new hardwood/carpet/tile flooring, new drywall throughout the entire house, paint, trim, cabinet/vanity installation, lighting, and more. This project was successful because JD Michael positively supported every aspect of the project. We are continuing to work with Joe/JD Michael Construction on another project as well as future projects."

From the initial consultation to final walkthrough everything went smoothly and pretty seamlessly. Erkay is a fabulous project manager and was available onsite daily to assist Ismar and team as well as field any questions (even by text). Ismar and his team tackled everything from demo, tub installation, tile, plumbing, countertop installation, cabinet installation, hardware installation PERFECTLY. Those are some of the hardest working guys I have ever seen. I was impressed daily. Everything turned out amazing, we can’t wait to have them back to do another bathroom. Highly recommend. "I discovered that I had water leaking into my second floor living room and needed fast assistance determining the source of the water. Gary Sr came out and determined that the water was most likely coming from around/under the door and the door needed to be replaced. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions or concerns.  I had an estimate in my hands later that day and I was so impressed by the turn around time, great customer service, and overall price that I decided to have Perryhall Remodeling complete the installation of my new door. On the morning of installation, Gary Sr, Gary Jr, and Chris were all very friendly and a great company to work with. The original plan was to install a 6" sliding glass door, but the plan was reworked once Jr arrived to include a 5" door instead. During the installation, all of my questions were answered with ease and they explained what they were doing. Their greatest concern and mine was that the water leak problem was fixed. "I hired Walter Howard to renovate the master bathroom.  He was professional in every respect from the initial estimate to final completion of the job.   The job required removal and replacement of shower, toilet, sink, cabinets, and all fixtures; installation on new lighting, ceiling fan, new GFCI, tile floor and trim and new paint.  He and his team arrived promptly, did their work in a competent and confident manner and ensured the job site was clean before they left for the day.  He completed the job on-time and on budget, and my wife is delighted with the results.  I was so pleased with the work he did on this project, that I hired him to do our hall bathroom.  If you are looking for an experienced, reliable and high quality contractor, I strongly recommend Walter's Home Improvement.  His prices are reasonable and the work is first rate. <br /> <br />"

"Gentleman who came out to give the estimate told us that the moldy-smelling, black material on the wet baseboard was not mold but was some leftover by-product of the MDF. It's definitely mold as confirmed by 2 other professionals and a home test. He also refused to give us a written estimate. He told us we had a problem with water so he was going to rip up everything, regardless of whether the materials actually needed to be replaced, put down new, and we wouldn't have a problem anymore. $12,000. He said that his company didn't do little jobs. Just big jobs. However, they are listed on Angie's List in Carpentry-Unfinished. We would never consider hiring this company."
