"I got a deal from Berger about their table pad and just in time for my new dining room set. I didn't have time to set the template due to a new baby in the house. A few months later, they still honored my deal! WOW! I sent it in and they made the pad pretty quick. Shipping was fine and the fit was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone! Truly a good company to work with. A++"

"Victoria was very prompt, professional and did a marvelous job. In fact, the garage door was left open while she painted and two people from our short street stopped to admire the work and asked for her business card. The estimate was reasonable and she did a marvelous job. You get what you pay for. Previously I had painting done inside the condo and I asked her to please purchase additional paint for me so that I can paint where the interior painters had "overlooked" some trim work. She also does interior painting. She was highly recommended by one of my neighbors. I highly recommend her and I will hire her again when I need more work to be done."

"Excellent! I'd bought a beautiful slab French door last year from Habitat for Humanity ReStore, and painted it this past winter, but had difficulty finding someone to install it. After doing a lot of research, I found that installing a slab door requires a high degree of carpentry skill.
I got David's name from my aunt - he has done some work for her. He came by on 08/13/15 with his assistant Seth to look at the job. The installation was complicated by the fact that the French door is a true exterior door - 1-3/4' thick, whereas the original back door was 1-5/8" thick. After discussing two approaches to adjust for the great thickness, we went with my approach of trimming the door stop by 3/8" so that the door would sit completely within the frame.
We arranged to do the work on 08/19/15. The work took a couple hours. He removed a lock remnant from the previous owners from the door frame. He did say candidly that he was not a finish carpenter, so I had to fill the spot where the lock remnant had been with wood putty, and also fill the area on the frame where the bolt lock had been on the original door, but I was fine with that. I do some DIY work, but I know my limitations - installing an exterior door is one of them. When they were done, David and Seth moved the original door to my cellar per my request - I may reuse it in the future.
David and Seth came back the next morning after I had chance to paint the raw wood that was revealed by the trimming. They quickly reinstalled the weather stripping, and we settled up. The $125 price was a bargain - the fellow I know at Home Depot's door desk once told me that $500-600 is a normal price for slab door installation. I've lived with door for a month now, and it still moves and locks easily. It is very nice having more sunshine in my kitchen. I'll appreciate it even more when winter arrives and the kitchen is both warm and sunny.
David and his assistant Seth were friendly and down to earth, and I felt very comfortable with them in my house, and that's important too.

"

"We dropped in to see what Exciting Windows had on display based upon Angie's list reviews. We left our name and number and got a prompt call back to set up a home consultation. I knew what I wanted but both of the installations were pretty tricky -- I had a triple window in my dining area that I wanted white wood blinds and a street view from my bedroom that I wanted half shutters. The session occurred exactly as planned and plenty of time spent to get exactly what we wanted. The design consultation was very well worth it as I would have picked a totatly different "white" but these are gorgeous. I was steered to the best material per application, using vinyl for the shutters. The installation was included for a flat price and the installer spent a great deal of time in our house as the plantation shutter installation was tricky. They turned out great. The installer worked to make me completely satisfied. The over the top was that I had another installer for my living room blinds -- but that service provider did not provide returns for the valences. The valence was open on the sides and sort of slid around a bit from side to side. Very frustrating. For the cost of the replacement valences only, the consultant contacted the blind manufacturer, worked out the best alternative, obtained our approval and the installer installed new valences with returns. It really looks so much better. That is above and beyond. I can't say how happy we are with Exciting Windows. Highly recommended.
"

"Everything about this vendor's operation was professional. Once we agreed to go with Morningstar, they were very responsive to all our requests and needs. Quick turn-around from template to installation. Same craftsman does the template and supervises the installation. If you intend to spend the money on granite, then you want this kind of expertise and professional attention. By-the-way, they can do a leather finish on any stone counter. Other venders could not offer this.
"

"Leslie Hayden, Owner of Creative Visions Interior Design, was extrenely easy to work with and made the process of making critical decisions much less stressful. She is not afraid to give you her honest opinion, which is refreshing as it surely saved a ton of time and helped to get us both on the same page very quickly. She made herself available to meet with me even when it was inconvenient for her (for example the time she drove to Portland from a job 45 minutes away, just to give me paint samples to review, so my painter could start a day ealier. She then returned to that job site). She is extremely professional, knowledgeable and conscientious. In the end, I could not have gotten through the renovation without her and her expertise provided me with a home that is simply stunning. The name of her company says it all - Creative Visions Interior Design - She does have vision and knows how to bring those visions to fruition. I wish Leslie all the best, and highly recommend her to do your next job, no matter how big or small.
"
