"Splendidly! The work took 3 weeks from the first day, which is exactly how long he estimated. I cannot praise Nato Vargas and his crew enough. They were here working everyday, without fail from 8am to 5pm. At the end of each day they carefully closed the gates and left the place clean and organized. Nato Vargas was always available - every time I needed to talk to him he answered his phone immediately. On more than one occasion my husband and I changed our minds about various things in the plans and Nato was extremely positive and willing to do exactly what we wanted and offered his suggestions for the design as well. He was more than fair when negotiating prices. I have never had a more pleasant experience with a project of this proportion. I interviewed 5 landscape contractors for this project and chose Nato because he had the most competitive bid and was very punctual and courteous and professional. I decided on Highland Landscape because the owner, Lee Tavare, listened to the general ideas of what I was looking for and worked with me to come up with a design that was attractive and within my budget. Lee was here every day working and overseeing the job. Manual, his assistant was also knowledgeable, hardworking and a nice friendly guy. I was so pleased with the deck and patio I had them put in a paver deck around the pool and add a sprinkler system. Lee was patient and helpful- listening to various concerns and providing solutions and practical advice. The price seemed very reasonable for all that was done, there were no surprises and all the final bills came in a few dollars lower than his estimates. Lee is very knowledgeable in all types of construction which was nice for getting advice on various options and coming up with a workable plan for a beautiful backyard."

We had 32 cubic yard of bark remove, re install drip line for over 20 plants and trees, re wire garden lights, replace boarder with a metal boarder, apply weed barrier then cover area with 36 cubic yard of 3/4-1" of river rock. We are very pleased with their timeline. FYI, the written quote had some grammatical issues, this in part due to being bilingual. The quote reflected our verbal discussion."

"German came shortly after I had several large trees stump grinned, during our last major storms. His prices were more reasonable in comparison with other landscapers and he did an amazing job. He used a bobcat to remove the wood chips, debris, installed a new irrigation system, and installed a new raised concrete barrier. This was a lot of work and I’m pleased with German’s work. He also fixed a sprinkler section that I trouble with prior to the storm. He’s very knowledgeable and reasonable."
