"A?Team Electricians were fantastic from start to finish. They clearly knew what they were doing and completed our panel upgrade efficiently and cleanly over the course of a few days. Communication was prompt, the team was respectful, and they left the space spotless. Everything passed inspection with no issues. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing reliable electrical work in Las Vegas."

"Richard, Johnathan and Azael did phenomenal. I had a couple of smoke detectors that were experiencing repeated problems. They troubleshot the issue, confirmed it had nothing to do with wiring and replaced the problematic smoke detectors with a more ideal type of device. Great service, quick response and very courteous."

"Mr. Chu first checked the GFCI's for accurate installation. They were wired correctly, although when tested with his multimeter it still indicated that the hot wire and ground wire were reversed, causing both to malfunction. He metered my entire service panel and found everything normal. Both of us were very perplexed, as I also have some electrical knowledge. After 2 hours of trouble shooting it was determined that there most likely was a short in a junction box in the attic somewhere.Having just had 22 inches of insulation blown into my attic and the fact that there was very little room to move much less work, I decided to call a licensed electrician. They always have an array of technical equipment that would trace the wiring without the need to go into the attic if not necessary. Mr. Chu was not the least bit offended when I told him that I thought that I might need to do that. He spent 2 hours trouble shooting and refused to accepet any payment because "I didn't fix the problem". Six hours of trouble shooting and $400 later (electricians fee) the problem was resolved. The home is 34 years old. The previous owner decided to stucco the outside of the home (over lap siding) and stuccoed right over the GFCI outlets on the exterior which had been tied directly into the bathroom recepticles. They were so rotted that after cutting a hole in the stucco, they just fell to pieces. HUGE fire hazzard. It did take a couple of high tech electrical meters to trace and locate the issues. I am very impressed with Mr. Chu's demeaner, professionalism and more importantly, his honesty. I have a considerable amount of base board to install in my home and I will not hesitate to give that job to Mr. Chu.
Thanks Jung. I appreciate you very much and my wife is really really glad to have her blowdryer back. Will be talking to you soon.

"sales person arrived and explained how the wireless system I had purchased was "ok" but a hard wired system would be more reliable. He explained and walked the property and I agreed to his suggestions. The entire process was supposed to take 'about a week' and ended up taking 3 weeks. Approximately 12 holes were make to enable wiring and the company did not do the sheet rock repairs-I had to pay $500 for another person to come in and spend 2 days to take care of closing up. The job itself with equipment is excellent."

"Tom and his assistant showed up when promised with a very nice 50 gallon water heater.  They were very friendly and answered all of my questions.  There were some extra charges for permit and or new gas line but sill felt the overall charges were fair.  I would use them again."

"Where do I begin. River Sun Solutions was amazing start to finish. Their employees are the hardest working individuals I have seen in a long time. The biggest thing for me was their communication, they said they will be there at a certain time they were there a few minutes early. They did not dilly dally one bit, there crew knocked out a 39 panel install, ran all the electrical in the attic, and setup storage batteries in the garage on what the news stated was the hottest day of the year at 118 degrees outside not to mention the temp in the attic. The attention to detail on their work was next level, I have never seen a company be this thorough. When the install was complete they double checked everything after working hours on hours, they went through everything checking the panels on the roof, the electrical panel, the batteries in the garage, cleaned up their mess and left it cleaner than they found it. The best part was the owner himself stopped by several times to check in."

FAQs for electrical wiring or panel upgrade projects in Cal-Nev-Ari, NV

While homeowners with substantial electrical knowledge might technically attempt a subpanel installation, most local building departments require permits and inspections for this type of work. Professional electricians understand local code requirements, can obtain necessary permits, and ensure the installation meets safety standards. Given the significant safety risks associated with incorrect electrical work, most homeowners benefit from hiring a licensed professional.

A standard subpanel installation takes an average of four to eight hours. This timeframe may extend if you're installing multiple subpanels or adding specialized circuits like those for spa equipment. Factors such as difficult access points, complex wiring paths, or permit processing times can also affect the overall project duration.

Adding a subpanel doesn't directly reduce electricity consumption or lower your utility bills. A subpanel simply redistributes power from your main panel to additional circuits. However, organizing your electrical system more efficiently may help prevent overloaded circuits and the associated problems. For actual cost savings, consider energy-efficient appliances and lighting instead.

The appropriate subpanel size depends on your specific electrical requirements. Consider the number and type of devices you'll be powering, potential future needs, and the capacity of your main electrical panel. An electrician can perform a load calculation to determine the most suitable amperage rating for your situation, ensuring you have adequate power without overpaying for unnecessary capacity.

A main electrical panel connects directly to your utility's power supply and contains your home's primary service disconnect. It distributes electricity throughout your entire house. A subpanel, by contrast, receives power from the main panel and redistributes it to a specific area of your home. Think of the main panel as the primary distribution point and the subpanel as a secondary branch that extends your electrical system's reach.

While electrical upgrades aren't as immediately visible as kitchen or bathroom renovations, they can contribute to your home's functionality and safety. Prospective buyers often appreciate updated electrical systems that can accommodate modern power demands. A properly installed subpanel that provides additional capacity for workshops, home offices, or future expansions could be an attractive feature for certain buyers, though the direct impact on home value varies by market.
