"The painting work done was excellent. The extent of the wood repairs was more than originally anticipated, but all repairs were needed and were executed well. We decided to replace all of the rain gutters for consistent appearance. We have received numerous compliments from neighbors as they have walked by the house and noted the paint colors and the additional front fencing that we installed rather than repair the original wooden fence. Additionally, Gary Kasabian, the owner, was an essential participant in selecting the final paint colors, ensuring that each color was complementary to the others and provided eye interest without being distracting. He also provided expert advise regarding craftsmen to build the new block/stucco wall along the front of the house and to take down and replace the rain gutters. He was on site daily and sometimes several times a day. He was always available by text or phone. "We hired Miguel and his crew when we first moved in to install a railing to our basement stairs.  The stairs had a handrail on one side but no spindles and no rail or spindles on the other side.  With small children in the house, this was a safety hazard.  I interviewed 3 contractors and Miguel gave us the best pricing and several options on how to install the rail and spindles.  He and his assistant was able to install a railing that matched the existing railing.  The railing and spindles they installed are SOLID and look great.  They also were able to install a fan in one of the bathrooms.  They connected the vent to an existing vent from another bathroom so did not have to put another hole on the side of my house, which I appreciated.  It was a big job and they got it done all in one day, which was impressive.  My husband was at home at the time and reported that Miguel and his assistant worked very hard and were very professional.
A few months later, we hired Miguel to replace the supporting posts to our deck. Our deck is one story off the ground and the existing supporting posts were not large enough (not up to code).  Miguel put a large horizontal beam across the bottom of the deck and attached 3 sufficiently large vertical supports to the horizontal beam.  They did a good job but the only thing was they did not paint the post to match the rest of the deck.  (Perhaps we should've been more clear about our expectations.)  Also, they used shims on one of the posts and it looks a little unfinished, but the deck seems to be fine so perhaps it's just cosmetic.  Overall, we are please and would hire Cancun Construction again.

"Brian did an outstanding job of repairing my front bay window exterior wood frame and the shelf used for flower pots. The exterior wood frame was rotten due to subterranean termites. The shelf was rotten due to lawn sprinklers. Brian's work is very high quality and he is a master craftsman. The finished window frame is beautiful and the shelf was widened and replaced with synthetic wood. I will hire Brian again as he's a pleasure to do business with, his work is of the highest quality and he finished the job on schedule."
