"Purchased Angieslist $159 offer to sealcoat upto 800 sft of Driveway. Scheduling and communication was easy. The provider responded to texts, messages and phone calls - so good to that extent. However workmanship needs improvement. Even though my drive is less than an year old, the seal coat couldnt fill minor cracks on the edges. On communication with provider later i was told that such cracks would be charged extra - well if that is so, why didnt you call me during the work??? Your deal clearly says as below: "Some crack filling restrictions apply; larger cracks can be filled for an additional fee Patching or other extensive repairs will be quoted separately at regular company rate " As consumers we need to know what that "Some" is? Its not that we try to save a $ here and there its just that we want good work and transparency.. Some areas of drive way could need more generous application of coat(even if its one) - that is something a responsible provider will go over and above the rule book. I wouldn't have minded to pay extra if that is what provider was looking for but please make us aware of it before you complete the job rather than making us feel shortchanged later on.."
