"I found Gilberto Flatwork on Home Advisor. I filled out a request for a bid. He called me in about 15 minutes. He came the next day and gave me a bid. It was well within the budget. He started yet that week. The job was a 40 foot by 10 foot patio. I also had him put in a sidewalk from the drive to the front door. It was slopped to make the house more handicapped friendly. This year I had him install a 10 foot by 11 foot patio in front and blend the sidewalk in with it. The job turned out great. My wife and I are very pleased with the work that was done."

The crew came and did the work on the day they were supposed to and the driveway looks great. Had no problem getting them to come back out a week later to touch up the crack fill after it settled in. "From the inital call for an estimate until the project was finished, I never had a bad experience with them. Glen, the owner, came out to do the estimate. He answered all our questions and he asked about what our overall goal/project was. He offered many ideas and tips. When the first crew showed up to excavate, they were VERY courteous and professional and very quick. Another crew came out to frame for the slab and came back the next day to pour. Again, they were quick and more than willing to answer questions. Glen came out for final inspection and to finish the last details. We had the cement colored and it looks great. Thier bid came in lower and the quality was better then the other bids we got. I will use them again for more projects. One thing also that really impressed me is the fact that the employees, the laborer's said how much they enjoy working for Glen and the company. <br />"

"They completely torn out our old asphalt driveway - a very long and winding drive with a good sized hill. They then laid down gravel base, compacted it and let it set for several weeks - we had scheduling requests, so actually let it set a couple months, which was fine. Gravel was perfectly level and easy to drive on. Whenever I had a question, or made a call and left a message, calls were promptly returned and all questions answered. Had multiple contact numbers, including their cells. Very professional and courteous. They asked repeatedly if everything was okay, and I was told to contact them again if anything was wrong or in question. Paid 1/3 when old drive was torn out and gravel base put in, and balance upon completion. I gave them an "A" for quality, but am also stating that this was only done a couple weeks ago, and hasn't stood the test of time or great usage as of yet. It looks beautiful right now, and am hoping it will remain that way. Tearing out and gravel was only one day. Paving was only one morning. Very quick and well-organized. Left a small pile of hot mix in trees that needs to be taken away, but am betting as soon as I call, it will be taken care of. If not....I will make an addendum to this review! We have a long, windy and hilly driveway. Price might sound high - but - all other quotes we got from area companies were about 25-30% higher, and all details of what they would do, including thickness of pave, etc., were equal. Highly recommend."
