Get matched with top concrete foundation repairers in Calhoun, LA

"Jamie was very thorough in his explanation. Sadly this project will have to wait quite a while due to the cost."

"Floors Sag or Shake was one of three estimates we got to reinforce the sagging floors in four rooms of our older home. We went with them based on the work they proposed and their positive online reviews, and we are completely satisfied with their work. They worked over three days to pour concrete footings, jack up the floors as best as possible, and then add permanent supports. They also removed an old vapor barrier and installed a new one. Each day, they arrived early and worked through the day. They communicated well and were courteous and professional. Prior to their work, our floors were not even close to level. More importantly, when walking on them, we could feel them "giving" under our weight. Now, our floors feel solid and look level throughout the house. While this type of work isn't as "fun" as other renovations, the cost of this repair is worth the peace of mind. Every time we walk across our floors, we are reminded of our investment. We also feel good about the transferable warranty—should we ever sell our home, a prospective home owner will have a good indicator that we invested in keeping this home safe and stable. Thanks, Floors Sag or Shake!"

"Awesome job! Work was done sooner than expected. Friendly, excellent service. Well qualified to fix Jim Walter homes."

"All went well.  Company worked quickly and efficiently.  I received a bid on Thursday, I accepted the bid the next Tuesday, work began the next day and was completed in two days.  Owner and employees were very easy to talk to and work with."

"They do good quality and I would recommend them. They have their tools and experience, they pick up the materials, and they're efficient."

We have been in business for 175 years, and our foundation work is backed by a Lifetime Warranty and Guarantee. It's important to begin any enterprise with a firm foundation and no one knows better than Abry Brothers. Abry, a skilled shorer, arrived in New Orleans from Frank- furt, Germany. Realizing he had a niche in the construction market due to the unstable delta soil which is characteristic of the area, Abry purchased a lot at 816-18 North Johnson St. and set up shop. He ran the business alone until the 1860's when he was joined by his son Emile. Emile's three sons came into the business near the turn of the century and operated under the name "Emile Abry &Sons." His sons would later change the name to Abry Brothers. Six generations later, Abry Brothers continues to be a stabilizing force in the building industry, handling all sizes and types of jobs.
