My wooden Anderson storm door that I stained and polyurethaned myself 5 years ago was weather beaten to the point that the polyurethane had peeled off and the bottom was completely unprotected. Also, the cherry stain had worn off and had turned black. I planned on refinishing it myself, but I never had the time. I signed on with Home Advisor and Dan contacted me immediately and he came by to assess the work to be done on the door, the door's glass insert, and the door's frame on the house. I was happy that he took the door and the glass insert to his shop so I did not have to deal with the dust and fumes that are produced by this work. The work consisted of sanding, multiple staining and drying tasks, applying multiple layers of polyurethane, and drying in between each application. All of this gave the door a sturdy protective finish. The door, the door's insert and the frame on the house came out great! Dan is personable and professional, and listened to what I said I needed him to do. He was in constant contact with me to tell me how the job was progressing and to ask me for my feedback. I truly, highly recommend Dan."
