"Well, I knew it was time for a new roof. Based on its age and just looking at it, I knew it. I had put off this decision for quite a while now, but yes, now was the time to finally invest in a new roof. Would I rather spend the money on a Hawaiian vacation or perhaps a new Zero Turn Lawnmower yard toy? Maybe, but if I am thinking clearly and correctly, not really! I knew a great roof replacement would add great protection not only for the home, but for me and my loved ones. It provides peace of mind, dynamic curb appeal, and one less big worry. When looking for a new roof, I’m sure like a lot of you have or are doing, I checked around a bit and chatted with a couple of neighbors, family, and friends. I just wasn’t satisfied with the cousin’s son-in-law’s brother’s friend who can do it over a number of weekends mentality. I also wasn’t interested in some of their decision-making like those who would choose bargain basement, lowest cost options, or on the other hand that I felt had been way overcharged. I decided to conduct some online searches of my own. I found BHI online through one of those searches. I must say that I was quite impressed by what I initially read and saw about the company, their Awards & Accreditations, their Charity, and strong sense of Community, as well as their Go Green commitment. They also have an “Operation Payback” Awards program that provides a free new roof to an American Veteran every year. That was amazing, and along with their many exemplary reviews, I had to check them out further and made a call. Jim DelPrete, President came out to visit with me in short order and assessed my particular and specific roofing needs and presented all the relevant options and recommendations and some needed do’s and don’ts. After speaking with him, I was confident about their services and capabilities, the materials, and the process, steps and timeline for the job. I also felt that the project cost was very competitive, reasonable, and fair. From contract to materials delivery to house prep and to the completed roof and cleanup, the project went along quite smoothly. I am very pleased with my new roof. I really am and I would like to publicly thank Jim, Elias, Sean, Samantha, and the whole crew. Some final words to share about my experience with the BHI team and with this home improvement project in no particular order: Customer-centric, Timely, Communicative, Knowledgeable, Consultative, Responsive, Friendly, Courteous, Fair, Neat, Transformative, Attentive, Cost-effective, Excellent work, Excellent materials, Professional, Impressive. Home is Improved! If you are tired of looking at your old haggard worn out roof like I was and will be in the market looking for a new roof or perhaps other home improvement services, I strongly advise and recommend that you check out Beantown Home Improvement at [*** Link removed ***] and call them at 781-293-1417 or email Jim at jim@beantownhi.com"

"Ranch Roofing replaced our roof, repointed and reflashed the chimney, and replaced two skylights about 10 years ago. Bob and his team did a fabulous job! However, I recently noticed the flashing along the chimney was pulling away from its base, and so I called Ranch Roofing to take a look at it. Roy was super responsive insofar as not only did I get a callback within 24 hours, but the problem was taken care of within a week! This team of guys is amazing, for they do excellent work and then they stand behind it. And they are really pleasant to deal with, too. I highly recommend Ranch Roofing, and would hire them again (but hope I won't need to for a while!)."

"Extremely pleased with On Top Roofing. Arrived on time, finished the job quickly and cleaned up thoroughly. Very pleasant people to deal with from Tim and Alise in the office to the workers on the roof. The price was right and the roof looks great!"

"Jason is a true craftsman that provides high quality slate and copper repairs/restorations for an affordable price. He explained exactly what he was going to do before he started our slate roof repairs and reviewed all the details with us. He replaced almost all of the copper cap flashing and 50+ slate. Along with the slate and copper repairs he rebuilt the chimney from just below the roofline and flashed it with lead. Finally, he installed copper boots for the plumbing vents and a new copper dryer vent. I have noticed that several of my neighbors have also used his services since completing our roof. I would definitely use Jason again on my next roof repairs."

"Quick response to repair leak which was great because heavy rains were on the way. Partial roof replacement was very conveniently scheduled around the weather and my and my tenants availability. Work was completed in less than a full day. They cleaned up well. No mess left outside the house or on the porches (3 family house)."

"Everything was great except cleanup. There was a misunderstanding about which shingles we wanted, but Willard made good on it. They even removed a small area where they had installed the wrong shingles and replaced them with the right shingles, all at no extra charge. The new roof looks great. The only problem was cleanup. We found a large number of nails in our yard and on our driveway, and a lot of pieces of plastic lying around."

"Mr. Cook responded promptly to my request for an estimate on my roofing job. He arrived as promised and provided a very thorough and fair estimate for the work requested, which was re-roofing the house, a garage, an addition and a shed, adding a 27' section of gutter to my garage and replacing two skylights in my addition. He was professional and personable, as well as very knowledgeable. The estimate he provided was complete and fair. In addition, he provided a list of homes he had roofed (with shingle colors) so that I could get a good idea of the color in actual lighting conditions. I was very pleased with his interaction and have no doubt as to his capability. Unfortunately, you can only hire one firm and I opted for a different company but you should contact him for an estimate on your job. He is well established and would be competitive."

"I had FRS Roofers replace my rubber roof on my main roof and a back porch roof. I also had them realign the back porch roof to sit flush with the rest of the house. They also replace a lot of rotted wood, fascia and replaced the gutters. The team of roofers took three days to replace the roof and I couldn't be happier. They were professional, polite and cleaned up the work spaces and even left them better than they found it. During the three day period I has asked questions regarding the status and the site foreman got back to me right away. Everything was done as expected and I am very happy with my new roofs, I can now proceed to remodel the back porch."

"- Very prompt, professional service delivered at a great price on our Newton expanded bungalow. - Owner, Brian (in business for 25 yrs) assessed/priced job and, with on-site job supervisor, was available at every stage of job completion. - I requested 4 references which Brian gave me at random but said he doesn't call former customers in advance of such requests so wasn't sure if I'd get call backs. All 4 references DID return my calls and all raved about Roofer's Edge/Siding work and value. - Also, work crew included professional women which I appreciated. - Policy is payment at the end of the job when customer is satisfied. - Will definitely use again for siding and or windows given this roofing experience."

"Connell Roofing replaced our existing roof with a new GAF Timberline ULTRA HD asphalt shingles, including some copper valleys and three solar roof vents. In addition, Connell installed a new gutter and downspout system replacing our 20-year old LeafGuard system with new covered gutters by Leaf Relief. Chris Kent, the salesperson, sat down with us during the contract process and explained the entire process, the types of materials, and warranties. He was very professional and informed and answered all our questions during the meeting and follow up emails. Chris also visited the site during both installations to ensure compliance with our contract. Zach Tentoni, managed the installation, and was very detail oriented, ensured compliance with the contract and expectations, and was on site during the installation as well being available by phone in case we had questions or concerns. Zach’s workmen including Mike, Curtis, Matt and Sammy were excellent, very accommodating and more than willing to answer any questions or concerns we had during installation of the roof and gutters. They were ver efficient, produced a quality product, and cleaned up well after the jobs were done. Zach performed a walk around upon completion. It was made clear that if we had any issues or problems post-completion, Zach was prepared to send members of his team back in to repair or fix anything that might occur. My wife and I are more than pleased with Connell Roofing and would highly recommend them."
