Customers say: Quick response

"If you want a magnificent job performance and no cutting corners then hire Carlos and his crew as I was very impressed and I’m not one to give out many compliments on workmanship but they most certainly earned it! Very thankful for them and the job they done. My daughter couldn’t be happier with her vanity and canopy bed. The workmanship really is exquisite and I look forward to working with them again in the future!!"

Hi! My name is Tony. I started Thatcher Painting years ago to make an honest living doing something I love.\nFrom the beginning, my goal was to give the very best service and make it affordable to home owners and real estate investors. With a lot of hard work, determination and years of experience, that is exactly what I've been able to do.\n\nThatcher Painting is a small family owned and run company with a small staff of highly skilled painting, staining and drywall repair experts. All of our painters have 15 plus years of custom residential painting experience. We are fast, neat and always professional. We have all the right tools, knowledge and experience to give you the very best paint job for your money period!\n\nI do all the bids and price quotes personally and I am on EVERY job doing much of the work myself. I don't sub-contract work to lesser qualified painters. I'm very affordable compared to other professional painters. I'm easy to work with and glad to answer all your questions. Contact me and let me show you just how affordable a custom painter can be!

"Todd came to our home to review our request to do a shower remodel. Todd was very personable and gave lots of ideas and said this project should be easy (10 day job) and no more than $2K. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE AT ALL! Todd has only been to the project once because we asked him to come review the project and during that visit it was agreed that the work done was HORRIBLE. The floor was uneven, the tile was not evenly spaced and we did not get a shelf as we asked for. So Todd agreed that the whole project needed to be started over. Now new guys came to demo and retile the shower. Once the project was "finished" we were still not pleased. Todd recommended a sliding shower door and the door entry way was so small, your shoulders cannot fit through it. The floor is uneven so there are puddles of sitting water. The shower leaks through the door because nothing is level and the shower faucet was never replaced do to the wrong size. Also, they put holes through walls and need paint touchup all around the shower form the demo. Todd refused to come and fix/complete the project. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and rude throughout the whole project."

FAQs for cabinets repair projects in Camby, IN

The timeframe for kitchen cabinet removal varies significantly based on quantity and installation complexity. Professional contractors typically complete standard kitchens within 4 to 8 hours, though complicated configurations involving plumbing or electrical components may extend to 1 to 2 days. Homeowners tackling this as a DIY project should allocate substantially more time—often 1 to 3 full days—as careful extraction requires methodical work to prevent property damage.

Kitchen cabinets can indeed be salvaged for reuse when removed carefully. Construction material significantly impacts success rates—hardwood cabinets generally survive extraction better than composite materials, which tend to chip or break. For optimal preservation, document the original layout, remove doors and hardware first, then methodically detach units from walls and adjacent cabinets. Professional removal significantly increases the likelihood of successful cabinet preservation.

Disposal options for kitchen cabinets depend largely on their condition and your local waste management regulations. Cabinets in reasonable condition might find new homes through donation centers or online marketplaces. For damaged units, professional waste removal services offer convenience, while dumpster rentals provide flexibility for larger projects. Some municipalities offer special collection services for bulky items, though advance scheduling is typically required.

Wall damage during cabinet removal represents a legitimate concern for many homeowners. The risk varies based on installation methods—cabinets attached directly to drywall without backing supports pose greater challenges than properly mounted units. Professional removal minimizes damage through specialized techniques and appropriate tools. Even with careful extraction, expect some minor wall repairs. Older installations and homes with plaster walls require particularly delicate handling to prevent significant damage.
