"Mr. Vasquez came to the house for an estimate. He sat down with us & asked for as many details as possible. He gently offered advise when we were unsure of an answer. He got us an estimate in a very timely manner. We had 2 other contractors come out for an estimate. J & D was not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. We did feel that the price was a little steep at the time. (the end result went above & beyond the price) When we decided to go with them, he stayed in contact with me & came to the sight daily. During the construction, I decided to add crown molding & other detail molding on the walls, as well as painting. Mr. Vasquez did not blink an eye, he graciously called in his painter & completed the request. The project took less than a week to complete (even with the add on's). My house was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. The completed shelves look as if they were constructed with the house. The gutters were a must with the rain & elevation of the new built house. The price was slightly lower than other bids we had gotten. My husband said his only regret was that we didn't find J & D before we built our house, that we would have had them build the entire house. I simply could not be more please with the outcome. Every employee was incredibly nice, and professional. The cabinet doors on the book shelves were custom made & the detail is flawless. I honestly can not say enough about this company. "As we get older reaching the bottom shelves of cabinets meant getting on our hands and knees using a flashlight to get what we needed We hired them to remove all the shelves from the bottom cabinets and replace them with drawers that pulled out easily.
