"Absolutely the best renovation experience with Doug! My husband discovered Doug through Angie’s List and Doug made room in his schedule to help finish a challenging, partially completed apartment remodelling project in Palmyra. It was such a positive, quality experience, we contracted with Doug and his Rejuvenation Design and Build Team to completely restore one apartment in a 4-family off Monroe Ave. The process with Doug was fun, his craftsmanship in this 1920s apartment was exceptionally detailed, and the place was completed in time to offer to an appreciative new tenant. So we then asked Doug if he’d work with us to completely redesign the bathroom and kitchen in one of our favorite, furnished 1-bedroom apartments in our 1906 Claude Bragdon-designed mansion on East Avenue where we are owner occupants. He drafted an exciting and very ambitious, luxurious, & upscale design integrating our requests/ideas into the plan. We loved it, signed, and stopped renting mid-February to get started. The kitchen and bath was sensitively gutted, renovated as Doug designed, with care and appreciation for an historic property, modifications as needed in an historic home, and with great consideration for our tenants living above and below this apartment. We were absolutely thrilled with the process, Doug’s enthusiastic and experienced eye for design suggestions, and the gorgeous results, and so are our tenants!! "Doug and his team completed work for us in early December 2019. He had done some work for us a few years ago so we asked him back to remove an existing tile floor because we wanted to replace the tile with carpet. During our estimate meeting, Doug listened to our reasoning for removing the tile and gave constructive recommendations on how to improve our situation. We asked Doug to break down the estimate into three parts to cover the tile removal, the installation of new baseboards in the room the tile was being removed from, and the installation of carpet. He provided a clear estimate for each and timely answered the follow-up questions we brought back to him. In the end, we decided to have Doug do the tile removal and baseboard work and went with a local carpet installer for the carpet. Doug and his team provided timely, professional, and quality work for us. His team was friendly and knowledgeable and worked hard to complete the work. We are happy with the work Doug did for us and will definitely consult with him on future projects."

"We had Rochester Renovation do many projects in our home, one after the other. The list includes the master bathroom, common area bathroom, basement shower, a finished laundry area, finishing a room in the basement, a drop ceiling in the laundry and finished room area, replacing paneling and slate flooring in a split level stairwell with drywall and tile flooring and replacing recessed flourescent lighting, in a workout room, with recessed lights and repairing the drywall ceiling where the flourescent lights used to be. An exterior door, in the workout room, was enlarged and a window was added where ther hadn't been one before. A window was also added to the basement bathroom where there hadn't been one before. One window in the master bathroom and two windows in the finished basement room were enlarged. Headers had to be installed for all but the finished basement windows. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is impressive and we were very pleased with the work."
