"Installed a new front door on my house. I would hire them again. Communication regarding install day and time could have been better. Workmanship was good."

"Christian did a great job on my laminate flooring. He did the whole house at a very reasonable price."

"We wanted new flooring installed before our move-in date while our condo was empty. We bought luxury vinyl plank flooring from Thornton Flooring in Sioux Falls. Raymond Shimel was to be our installer. Raymond immediately impressed us at our first meeting. He confidently told us exactly what the job of laying over 1,400 square feet would entail, saying he could have the installation done before our move-in date of 12/27/2022. He answered all of our questions in a friendly manner which put both of us at ease. Raymond and his helper not only took away the old carpet and flooring, but they installed the new flooring just like he said they would. They completed the work, cleaned up the whole condo, and had all equipment removed three days before our moving day. When I opened the door, what I saw was impressive. The entire floor of our condo was done with precision in every room and with the plank lined up and precisely squared. Thank you Raymond for your expert-class knowledge and a job well done! Folks, ask for Raymond Shimel to be your installer. You'll be glad you did. Matt and Cindy"

"Working with Dustin was a breeze! He was easy to get ahold of, quick to respond and his follow through was exceptional. Dustin was beyond helpful - he was available to answer questions as I purchased materials and provided helpful tips along the way. I would highly recommend Good Grains Carpentry for any hard floor install project you have. Rates were great, customer service was above and beyond 1 I couldnâ t be happier!"

"High-quality work at a great price. They knocked out 1000ft of laminate flooring in 2 days. Excellent to work with and I highly recommend."

"This was a difficult job. The first countertop was poorly installed. When I measured for the new one I did not take into account the overhang. In spite of these challenges and not having the right faucet, I now have a solid, well installed countertop, sink and faucet in my small RV. I’m looking forward to using RT for other projects."

"I really appreciated the quick contact and personal connection with this contractor. I felt his concern for my needs, but also thought he rushed through the details and did not get a good understanding of what I expected. I jumped on his proposal, that was in my estimate because of good ratings on HomeAdvisor and proceeded with my project. I found the results a little lacking because they left edges of concrete hanging off of low fill areas and found a crack in the MAIN concrete floor that I needed installed on top of heated shop floor. I still gave pretty positive rating because they came back and filled the area that I complained about and worked with me as the customer that was not satisfied. They did what was expected and worked with me to get the job done, even if it was extra steps. In the end... I am happy with results, so do not be afraid to work with them. JUST MAKE SURE THEY KNOW THE PLAN BEFORE WORK STARTS."
