He suggested that they be fixed also which made the repairs much more expensive and involved. The total cost then went from the $430 for the rewiring to $1130. He was very good at his job and was quite professional, even though he was able to work efficiently while also talking to is wife on the phone who kept calling on the phone. I Would have been happy just his repairing the automatic watering system and taken my chances on the leaking pipes......they seemed minor but could have been a problem in the future, but at 82 it may have been someone else's problem in the future and not had to spend so much for upkeep.
