"Angelo showed up and after showing him the work said he had to call his manager. He then had a ridiculous list of individual costs wanting $10,000 to complete the setup. Moreover, he then claimed he only did cost quotas yet in his van was all the equipment to complete my job. These guys are not honest and it is all about the money. Especially in summer. Another company came out and did the job for $600!!! The next day!!! Avoid these Anderson con artists. They act like this is the most difficult thing in the world. I travel a lot. These units are all over the world by the 100 thousands--just in Athens alone I saw every high rise apartment and houses with them. Not rocket science but granted it takes a trained technician to install refrigerant. It took 2 hours to complete. Angelo spent an hour on this call and 15 minutes trying to BS me why he could not do it. Upscale neighborhood--let's bid this 10 times what is reasonable."

"Having hosted the HGTV program “My House is Your House”, we’ve worked with and vetted many cabinet builders across San Diego and Southern California. I cannot understate enough how much of a mistake it was to choose Mr Cabinet Care for our kitchen cabinets on an Encinitas project. We are extremely disappointed with our experience with Mr Cabinet Care. We arranged & purchased custom cabinet drawer fronts that were supposed to be high-quality, but they arrived with noticeable gaps. the gaps were problematic for two reasons: 1. for the drawers / doors that closed incorrectly and 2. for being prone to collecting food debris (and unable to clean or remove that debris). When I contacted the company about this clear defect (the food /gap error), they completely dismissed my concerns, blaming “care and maintenance” instead of acknowledging the poor workmanship. Even worse, they provided doctored photos in an attempt to shift the blame, falsely suggesting that residue such as gum or putty had been left on the drawers. Not only was this completely untrue—no such residue existed in any of the photos we originally provided, nor in any additional photos we took. Falsifying evidence to avoid responsibility is not just dishonest; it’s unethical and gives us even greater concern over other claims they’ve made in workmanship or materials. The operations manager even said “The material you selected, White Oak Select, is naturally prone to expansion and contraction due to environmental factors such as heat and humidity. Upon reviewing the photos taken by the technician, it appears that the issues you are experiencing are likely related to care and maintenance, rather than any manufacturing defect.” These were installed weeks prior to our notice, not years later, and during a cool weather season. To claim extreme weather (like heat & humidity) in San diego is laughable and outrageous. Under California law, products like these are covered by warranties ensuring they are fit for their intended purpose. These drawer fronts clearly do not meet that standard, yet the company refused to honor its obligations. Instead of standing behind their product, they chose to manipulate the situation to avoid accountability. Beware if you work with them and have future warranty issues, youre going to likely run into similar defenses and accusations. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with this company. If they are willing to misrepresent facts and dismiss valid concerns, I can only imagine how they handle other customer complaints. We regret this purchase for our client and would never recommend them to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship or honest customer service. We will not be using them for any future HGTV projects nor recommending them to other clients or customers"

"The quality of the final product was good, although I had to stay constantly involved in the project and continually catch mistakes the project manager missed. Our project was supposed to take 6 weeks and ended up taking 13 weeks to complete. We were return customers having used RemodelWorks for another bathroom remodel earlier in the year, but we felt as if rather than rewarding us for our loyalty to them, we became the absolute last priority for them. Early in the project our project manager got a job at another company and our project began falling behind schedule soon after we were assigned a new PM. Rather than working extra to catch up RemodelWorks went with the opposite strategy and would send workers out 2-3 days a week to work on our bathroom and fall even further behind. Incredibly frustrating experience. Could not have felt less valued as a customer. The only olive branch they offered was to offer a vague discount on a future project."

"Thank you to Julio Valle from John Padilla Plumbing, Inc. After I had a lukewarm shower, I called Padilla Plumbing based on their 5 star reviews on various platforms. They had an opening the next afternoon. The gentleman on the phone gave me an estimate for replacing the water heater if that was necessary & told me their service charge would go toward any repair that they did for me. The next day, a gentleman called to say the plumber was running late & would miss the time window. What would I like to do? I opted to have the plumber come the same day if he could do it in the daylight. Julio arrived about 20 minutes later! Yay!! Julio was very professional & courteous. He tested the in-house faucets (upstairs & down) for water temperature. Then we went down to the water heater in the garage. He adjusted the temp on one of the heating elements as it was much lower than the other one. Again, he tested water temps upstairs & the water was already warmer!! This seems to be a well-run, responsive plumbing company that I will call again when needed. Highly recommend."

"Eco Home Builders has recently completed our master bathroom renovation, luxury vinyl tile installation & kitchen and window installation led by Refael. As a first time home owner with lots of questions, Refael and his crew helped me in every aspect of the complete kitchen and bathroom remodel that I needed. They had a ton to fix. He was always available when needed, and the process could not have been smoother. Overall the remodel took about 3 weeks, including all demolition, inspections and finish work. This was a complete gut job where they replaced everything, including the old electrical wiring, new shower and countertops. Eco Home Builders epitomizes honesty, great customer service and efficient project management."

"The quote to install a sink was extremely high - over $1000. This is maybe a 2 hour job, and I had all of the parts needed except maybe an extra foot of PVC. I'm sorry, but I can't see paying anywhere close to $500/hr for this. This is gouging, I recommend staying away."
