The service provider did an un rushed, thorough job. Found that, indeed, the unit had not been recently maintained, but that he only found the need for the heat exchange coils to be cleaned, a pound of coolant, and a switch replaced. Assessed that, despite its age, the unit was otherwise holding up well and likely to perform well another year or two. A pleasant surprise as I was bracing to be quoted replacement costs. The unit is now running great, and I have time to properly plan and shop for a replacement HVAC or geothermal system. No issues. A good honest job and repairs. Price seemed commensurate with the service provided.

"It went extremely well. The technician from Illinois Garage Repair was very professional and did an excellent job in replacing the garage door opener. He even went "beyond the call of duty" by programming all of my remote controls."

"They did a fair job. I completely forgot to leave a review right after they completed the job. But I guess better late than never. There were several spots that they didn't screw in the boards on the porch. The price more than doubled from the initial quote. I would've been happy to pay the final price had they not missed things. I even reached back out to them about the garage door they forgot to fix and he couldn't get anyone back out apparently. This was after I paid him the full amount owed. It was also kind of irritating that they used and dirtied up my swiffer and ladders to clean up their mess from removing the popcorn ceiling. I figured they would've had their own cleaning supplies for that or at least cleaned off my supplies when finished. I honestly am giving him as high of rating as I am because he did provide most of what I asked."

"The electrician was parked in our driveway at 6:30 am! He was knocking on our door at 6:45. When I answered the door and told him it was only 6:45, he said that his truck said 7:00 and he doesn't go by the customer's time! I think 6:45 is too early for any service man to be knocking on the door. He was not able to fix or repair the door bell but he was able to identify any issues with electrical outlets. He made some negative comments about people from "third world" countries doing electrical work that resulted in him coming out and doing things right. Inappropriate comment."
