That is, my sewer line runs to the alley, not the street, and it has some failure and partial blockage. VERY fortunate am I to discover that BEFORE there's a serious problem! My husband and I woke up at 3:30am on Friday to get ready for my foot surgery, after my shower the toilets clogged and nothing would drain, my husband knew exactly what the issue was - the septic tank was full and needed pumped and/or there was a clog.  Knowing I wouldn't be able to walk after surgery I was freaking out about not having a restroom in the house. My husband called a friend that recommended them and it was the best thing that could have happened!
